Don't wanna take it slow I wanna take you home And watch the world explode From underneath your glow Yea I wanna watch the way... You creep across my skull... You slowly enter Cause you know my room And then crawl your knees off Before you shake my tomb I wanna watch you close I need to see for sure And then the tape is on Who do you think we can show? I wanna watch the way... You creep across my skull... You slowly enter Cause you know my room And then crawl your knees off Before you shake my tomb You slowly enter Cause you know my room And then crawl your knees off Before you shake my tomb You enter slowly You know my room You crawl your knees off And then you shake my tomb I wanna watch the way... You creep across my skull... You slowly enter Because you know my room And then crawl your knees off Before you shake my tomb You enter slowly, You know my room, You crawl your knees off And then u shake my tomb...

Don't wanna take it slow

I wanna take you home

And watch the world explode

From underneath your glow

Yea I wanna watch the way...

You creep across my skull...

You slowly enter

Cause you know my room

And then crawl your knees off

Before you shake my tomb

I wanna watch you close

I need to see for sure

And then the tape is on

Who do you think we can show?

I wanna watch the way...

You creep across my skull...

You slowly enter

Cause you know my room

And then crawl your knees off

Before you shake my tomb

You slowly enter

Cause you know my room

And then crawl your knees off

Before you shake my tomb

You enter slowly

You know my room

You crawl your knees off

And then you shake my tomb

I wanna watch the way...

You creep across my skull...

You slowly enter

Because you know my room

And then crawl your knees off

Before you shake my tomb

You enter slowly,

You know my room,

You crawl your knees off

And then u shake my tomb...

Deftones – You’ve seen the butcher Setting – library Meaning The lyrics of the song are in a sexual manner between two people where a flirtatious attitude is described between them. The lyrics describe a built up tension between the two recipients and how they want to do this so much and the bottled feeling’s between them is raring to get out. This relates to the video as it shows the throwing of books, which symbolizes the set of rules, brought down from in the Ten Commandments that what they are feeling towards one another is a ‘deadly sin’ known as lust. However what they are feeling is natural occurrence between one another. In the video it begins to rain blood, showing the occurrence of judgment day and that them fulfilling this need leaves them behind from ascending to a so called ‘greater’ life, but they don’t care as it feels good to them and its just a natural chemistry between people that occurs and shouldn’t be judged in such an ill manner. In the video it follows a whole of group of people in a concealed environment. The room is small pushing everyone closer to one another, creating a more intimate bond between everyone in the room. The amount of people in the room also shows that this isn’t just between groups of people, it occurs naturally in everyone one and fear it self brought down from those who believe it to be wrong is what keeps it back in others. The reversal of the book been thrown back into the room and the sky begins to turn red, states that the rules can be broken but their forever going to be judged for what they are doing, yet they still insist on it as the feeling’s they are emitting to one another feels right. In the lyrics it talks of a strong intimate feeling between two people, one being the perspective of the singer. The lyrics talk about the strong feeling of lust between them and that he doesn’t want to take it slow with this person and that he wants to just get into it straight away. The subject of lust is strong in this which relates to the video as the video shows the strong energy that is felt between people, however it is judged by old ways stating that what they are feeling is wrong and don’t deserve to ascend to a greater life, shown in the scene when the sky turns red and begins to rain blood. During the hour of judgment the intimacy between everyone still persists, as the feeling is of a greater force in the eyes of everyone in the room, as it is real. The feeling is of a stronger force than the fear created by the idea of judgment, what they are feeling is more powerful between each other and why should this be judged by old ways, it’s a natural feeling.
