Lydia personally represents some of the best service providers in the beauty industry as their Brand Manager. She also has a network of hairstylists, makeup artists, designers, fashion stylists, photographers and models that she can tap into if anyone ever needs the services of any of the aforementioned. They are all exceptional at what they do and are often looking for a platform which can afford them editorial opportunities for exposure and experience. As a Beauty Liaison, Lydia works on both fashion and beauty with an emphasis on Beauty. Lydia researches, reports and writes fashion and beauty stories, items, including departmental columns, and some features. Lydia also contributes to the Various Magazines in Print and on their websites. She maintains fashion and beauty relationships in the market and attends industry events. In addition, she helps coordinate general production of fashion shows & any location photo shoots and trips. Lydia also does celebrity interviews. As a Brand Manager, Lydia helps her clients build their brand by developing publicity campaigns for beauty, fashion and luxury lifestyle clients using a blend of public relations, viral marketing, cross promotions, exciting events and website publicity.

LYDIA PIERRE…BIOGRAPHY Lydia was born in Brooklyn NY, her family moved to Philadelphia while she was young. She attended Empire Beauty School of Cosmetology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lydia was destined to be in the beauty industry. Her first day of school, she knew there was more opportunity than just working in a salon. Lydia is skilled in all areas of hairstyling, but specializes in hair extensions ands offers a durable, sewn in wefted application that her clients adore and rave about. Lydia studied Business Administration at Temple University and Criminal Justice at the University of Phoenix. Lydia Pierre founded Blessed Occasions Inc. in 2009, A Traveling salon & Spa based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and served as both Chief Executive Officer and Advanced Licensed Cosmetologist. Lydia has spent over 12 years in the industry as a hair extensions specialist and cosmetologist and has attended and won several hair competitions. After graduating from Beauty School, she continued to improve her skills while working with various extensions techniques, ongoing education, seminars, and one-one-one training sessions. Lydia has reinvented her career and is now a Beauty Liaison connecting individuals, from celebrities to the housewives, consumers to businesses and businesses to businesses who need and provide beauty, and fashion services of all kinds. Her career path has brought her to Atlanta GA where she continues to work as a Beauty Liaison and Media Professional attending and reporting on celebrity studded events such as Hip Hop Chef’s Celebrity Feed the Needy, and Franks Ski’s Celebrity Wine tasting in addition to interviewing some of Atlanta’s finest and well known celebrities from Reality star Erica Dixon to Atlanta Housewife Cynthia Bailey. She also dedicates her time and talent by working as the Public Relations Specialist with Family Support Circle which is a Non Profit organization providing services to At-Risk youth in the Metro Atlanta areas. As a popular motivational industry writer and key note speaker, Lydia Pierre has delivered many lectures for various organizations and beauty schools and women's shelters in Philadelphia and New York. The presentations are jam packed with information about being a business owner and empowerment.

In 2011, Lydia met & interviewed the Legendary Music Icons Leon Huff and Kenneth Gamble at The Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring the duo; while hosting with V-SN TV (Vision TV) at The Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring Huff & Gamble. Helping to celebrate the honorees were Gala Chairman The Honorable Edward G. Rendell, Grammy Award winner Billy Paul and the TSOP Band along with many well known artists who were also in attendance at the Westin in Philadelphia.

In 2011& 2012 Lydia & her team at Blessed Occasions has had the honor of being invited to many prestigious events such as the NAACPs 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament where they provided services to well known celebrities. Among whom were Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles and Isaac Redman, running back for the Pittsburg Steelers. Also in attendance was Gary Brackett of the Indianapolis Colts and Heavyweight Boxer, Chazz Witherspoon. The Traveling Salon & Spa has worked with Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club of the Legendary former NFL quarterback and ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Ron Jaworski and has been invited back on other occasions.

In 2012, Blessed Occasions, Inc. in partnership with the Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia, and the Coalition of Young Christians of Pennsylvania will present their 2nd Annual Charity Fashion Show & Beauty Expo titled “Hair 4 Haiti Extravaganza 2012” which is a community based cultural event that will bring the city’s best fashion designers, make-up artists, hairstylists, top entertainers, and the Haitian community together to fundraise and celebrate Haiti’s Flag Day. The first show was held the previous year in January 2011.
