Core Values

Christ-Centered: We emphasize salvation through Jesus Christ in all we do; our relationships, our course of study and our daily activities are guided by the love of God, expressed in Jesus Christ.

Christian Education in the Lutheran Tradition: We offer the benefits of Christian education to families in the greater St. Louis area and beyond.

College Prep: We provide a college-prep experience which prepares each student to achieve his or her God-given potential; our students are postured for success at the collegiate level and beyond.

Develop a Servant Leadership Legacy: We are committed to ongoing processes that develop generations of Christ-like servant leaders who celebrate their baptismal identity and offer themselves as witnesses to God on behalf of others in their family, the church and the world.

Develop the Whole Student: We provide a safe environment where students are nurtured and thrive spiritually, intellectually, and socially; we promote the physical, social and mental health of our students.

Diverse Environment: We are one in Christ and inclusive of ethnicity, religious affiliation, academic ability, and socio-economic status.

Excellence: We will always do our best to reach our highest possible level of achievement in all areas of education.

Leadership in Lutheran Christian Education: We are the leading organization fostering Lutheran Christian Education in the greater St. Louis community and beyond.

Stewardship: We are managers of all life’s resources and will use them for God’s purposes.

Mission Statement:

LHSA facilitates college preparatory Christian education

and nurtures a diverse community of Christian leaders.

Our promise is fulfilled through our mission. It enables

us to nurture, challenge and prepare our students to be

life-long learners, leaders and Christian servants.

Two words, RELATIONSHIPS and

PREPARATION are key to our promise. These two

words provide commonality between our communities

and our schools. A unity that is in Jesus Christ allows

us to nurture students in their faith, challenge them in

academics and prepare them as whole people through

service and leadership in a domestic and global

environment.
