Congratulations also to Lexi M (KR), Thorin P (KR) and Riley T (4/5H) for winning the three “lucky door” prizes. Big thank you again to everyone who helped us raise funds. On Friday I applied under the State Government Community Building Partnership Grant for funding to upgrade the taps in the student toilets and painting motivational quotes/pictures/decals on the toilet doors to link in with student wellbeing. Fingers crossed! Do not forget if you would like to donate to our Building Fund and claim a tax deduction in this year’s tax please see details below. SUB-COMMITTEE NEWS

CANTEEN NEWS Convener: Janette Allardyce-Walker

The canteen is now open for online orders only. At this stage we will not

be providing counter service and we are unable to accept cash. If you would

like to order recess or lunch for your child, please go to the QKR! App. We

would also appreciate at this time for you to NOT send in your black lunch

order bags. Some items are unavailable, but we still have a large variety of

yummy and healthy foods available. If you have any questions please do not

hesitate to contact Sharon, our canteen manager on 0430 290 077 or

Janette on 0410 638 340.

Thank you for the ongoing support from all the canteen volunteers, and

staff.

UNIFORM SHOP NEWS

The uniform shop is currently taking online orders through QKR! If you

need new uniforms, please place an order using the QKR! App. If you need a

Return and Earn

Reminder that whilst parents are unable to enter school grounds at this

stage and therefore cannot drop off containers into our blue bins, please

continue to take down your eligible containers and donate them to our

school at Grandviews. Thank you!

The primary focus of the Lugarno Public School Building Fund is to seek donations from the public, past, present and future families of Lugarno Public School to help with the construction, improvement and maintenance of school buildings at Lugarno. This will supplement the current school funding.

Some examples of how Lugarno Public School plans to use the funds donated to benefit the school:

• Refreshing the school with painting to school buildings and classrooms;

• New carpets in classrooms; and• Upgrading the cola, library and computer rooms.

The Fund is operated by the School Building Fund Administrator, an elected position of the school P & C.

The Lugarno Public School Building Fund committee includes our Principal Justine Williams and four other P&C members. The Committee will seek donations from the public and use the funds to improve and maintain the school buildings at Lugarno Public School.

Your support can significantly boost Lugarno Public School’s capacity to innovate and build for the future and give the students of Lugarno Public School the best place to learn and grow. Gifts large and small are all received with thanks, we appreciate your support!
