* When he was 5 years old, he

was hit by a car and was badly

injured. He spent two days in a coma and had several

visible scars.

* At the age of 7, he and his family had to leave their home in 1940 because of the German invasion.

*During that time, his father was very sick, and his grandpa died from cancer. That affected Luc tremendously and was one of the reasons why he decided to study cancers and such.

*He set up a chemistry lab in the cellar of his house, where he experimented for fun.
