The LS-01 is a forensic quality fingerprint scanner manufactured as a separate optical unit driven by a backbone computer (including a notebook). The LS-01 provides an effective way of capturing clear and easily classifiable live touch-fingerprints. The LS-01 is designed for the growing needs in the personal identity check application area (access control systems, background checks, biometric passports, etc.). The LS-01 uses the optical technology that enables producing high quality fingerprint images even of moist fingers. An SDK Papilon will be provided allowing the LS-01 to be rapidly integrated into various personal identification and access control systems.
