page on the LPMS website. You can find the “Announcements” under the
“About LPMS” tab. You can also view the athletic and school calendar
from the LPMS website. It is in the top right corner of the webpage.
Please also check your student’s team webpage by hovering on the Class-
rooms tab at the top of the page. Once you hover on the tab, a menu will
appear and you can click on your student’s team page. Then you can click
on “Newsletters” and find up to date information about the team.

Other opportunities for students:
YMCA Bus—Attention 7th graders, The bus for the YMCA is now running! You must have
a signed permission form turned into the office. Please sign up for the bus in the office no
later than 1 o’clock on the day you wish to ride.
Homework Help – Need a quiet place to work on homework? Do you need to use a comput-
er to complete research for an assignment? Need some additional help in math? Homework
Help will meet from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Come any day - Monday through Friday. Once
you are in after school supports, you are expected to stay the whole hour. Please have your
ride here by 3:45 p.m.
FCA – Fellowship of Christian Athletes will begin meeting every Wednesday morning at
6:30am in Mr. Strycker’s room. FCA is a student-led group where we play games, eat do-
nuts, and students share a lesson with the group. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Science Olympiad
Mandatory meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 6th and 7th. Regular meetings
every Tuesday and Wednesday until 4:00 p.m. in Ms. Darrow’s room number 801.
Speech Team
Mondays and Thursdays until 4:00 pm Ms. Monroe’s room 705
Open Gym
Basketball for Boys & Girls 6:30 AM Wednesdays
Knowledge Bowl Practice this week.
Kindness Club Kindness Revolution is a club designed to recognize kindness around our community and School. We will be doing fun activities, and community service projects to help better our school and community every Monday from 2:35- 4:00. We will have our
first meeting on Monday, December 5th, after school. See Mrs. Sampson on 7Blue with any questions.

REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR
Love the scientific method and working with a partner or by yourself to learn about a science
topic? Compete in the Pikes Peak Regional Science Fair which will be held Saturday February 25 at UCCS. For more information, please talk to your
science teacher.
