The Fall Kick-Off is designed to give new and returning students a chance to meet our faculty, representatives from Student Services areas, Learning Center and Library staff, and administrators as well as attend orientations and tours, purchase books and parking passes, and get their ID’s. It will be held on August 21, 2013, from 10 AM to 1 PM.

• 12 colleges in our region were represented: Glendale, Mt San Antonio, Coastline, Mission, Valley, LA City, Pierce, Harbor, East LA, Pasadena, Cerritos, and Oxnard Colleges.

• Presentations covered the LAMC Title V eLab video collection, Reading Plus and PLATO use in tutoring centers, building an Internship (volunteer-based) tutoring staff, tutor training, and embedded tutoring.
