Let no one caught in sin remain inside the lie of inward shame. We fix our eyes upon the cross and run to Him, Who showed great love, And bled for us. Freely You’ve bled for us.

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death, Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave. Christ is risen from the dead, we are one with Him again, Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave.

Beneath the weight of all our sin, You bowed to none but heaven’s will. No scheme of hell, no scoffer’s crown, no burden great can hold You down. In strength You reign. Forever let Your Church proclaim.

Oh death, where is your sting? Oh hell, where is your victory? Oh Church, come stand in the light. The glory of God has defeated the night! Singing! Oh death, where is your sting? Oh hell, where is your victory? Oh Church, come stand in the light. Our God is not dead. He’s alive! He’s alive!

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will.

We praise You, we bless You, we adore You, we glorify You, We give You thanks for Your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father.

Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, You take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; You are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.

For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the Glory of God the Father. Amen.

Text: VICTIMAE PASCHALI LAUDES fr. The Roman Missal © 1964, The National Catholic Welfare Conference, Inc. (now US Conference of Catholic Bishops)

Christians, to the Paschal Victim, offer your thankful praises! (Last time) Amen, Alleluia.

A Lamb the sheep redeems; Christ, who only is sinless, reconciles sinners to the Father. Death and life have contended in that combat stupendous: The Prince of life, who died, reigns immortal.

Speak, Mary, declaring what you saw, wayfaring. "The tomb of Christ, who is living, the glory of Jesus' resurrection; Bright angels attesting, the shroud and napkin resting. Yes, Christ my hope is arisen; to Galilee he goes before you."

Christ indeed from death is risen, our new life obtaining. Have mercy, victor King, ever reigning!

Jake Ineck and Rori Madril © 2013

I saw water flowing from the right side of the Temple, alleluia: And all to whom this water came were saved and all shall say:

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

On the day of resurrection, says the Lord, I’ll gather all nations and kingdoms, And I will pour clean water upon you. Let us sing a hymn to the Lord.

O chosen race, O holy nations, proclaim the mighty works of God, Who called you out of the darkness and into his marv’lous light.

TEXT: verse 1, Latin, 14th cent.; para. In Lyra Davidica, 1708, alt.; verses 2-3, The Compleat Psalmodist, ca. 1750, alt.; verse 4, Charles Wesley, 1707-1788, alt.; MUSIC: Later form of melody fr. Lyra Davidica, 1708

Additional Chorus: “Christ Be Magnified” Cody Carnes, Cory Asbury and Ethan Hulse © 2019

Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia! Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia! Who did once upon the cross, Alleluia! Suffer to redeem our loss, Alleluia!

Hymns of praise then let us sing, Alleluia! Unto Christ, our heavenly King, Alleluia! Who endured the cross and grave, Alleluia! Sinners to redeem and save, Alleluia!

But the pains which He endured, Alleluia! Our salvation have procured; Alleluia! Now above the sky He’s King, Alleluia! Where the angels ever sing, Alleluia!

Sing we to our God above, Alleluia! Praise eternal as His love, Alleluia! Praise Him, now His might confess, Alleluia! Father, Son and Spirit blest, Alleluia!

O Christ be magnified! Let His praise arise. Christ be magnified in me. O Christ be magnified! From the altar of my life, Christ be magnified in me.

Priest: Pray, brethren, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father. People: (Rise and reply) May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name,

for our good and the good of all his holy Church.

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Your glory.

Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.

Hosanna in the highest.

Priest: The mystery of faith. All: Save us, Savior of the world,

For by your Cross and Resurrection You have set us free.

Priest: The Lord be with you. Priest: Lift up your hearts.

Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

People: And with your spirit. People: We lift them up to the Lord.

People: It is right and just.

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: miserere nobis. (Have mercy on us.)

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: miserere nobis. (Have mercy on us.)

Agnus Dei, You take away the sins of the world: dona nobis pacem, dona nobis pacem.

(Grant us peace, grant us peace.)

Priest: Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. People: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

How great the chasm that lay between us. How high the mountain I could not climb. In desperation I turned to heaven and spoke Your name into the night.

Then through the darkness Your loving-kindness tore through the shadows of my soul. The work is finished, the end is written. Jesus Christ, my living hope.

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free! Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me! You have broken every chain. There’s salvation in Your name. Jesus Christ, my living hope.

Who could imagine so great a mercy? What heart could fathom such boundless grace? The God of ages stepped down from glory to wear my sin and bear my shame.

The cross has spoken; I am forgiven. The King of kings calls me His own. Beautiful Savior, I’m Yours forever. Jesus Christ, my living hope.

Then came the morning that sealed the promise, Your buried body began to breathe. Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion declared the grave has no claim on me.

Jesus, Yours is the victory!

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION (for those unable to receive Holy Communion) My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

The ground began to shake, the stone was rolled away; His perfect love could not be overcome. Now death, where is your sting?

Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated.

Forever He is glorified; forever He is lifted high. Forever He is risen; He is alive, and He is alive.

We sing hallelujah, we sing hallelujah, we sing hallelujah; the Lamb has overcome.

Come, let us worship our King. Come, let us bow at His feet.

He has done great things. See what our Savior has done. See how His love overcomes.

He has done great things. He has done great things.

O Hero of Heaven, You conquered the grave. You free every captive and break every chain.

O God, You have done great things. We dance in Your freedom, awake and alive.

O Jesus our Savior, Your name lifted high. O God, You have done great things.

You’ve been faithful through every storm. You’ll be faithful forevermore.

You have done great things. And I know You will do it again

For Your promise is Yes and Amen. You will do great things. God, You do great things.

Hallelujah, God above it all! Hallelujah, God unshakable!

Hallelujah, You have done great things! You’ve done great things.

A few words about your faithful sacrifice... The Church’s mission continues! Because regular operating expenses remain (salaries, facility

maintenance, etc.) please continue your regular tithe. This is extremely critical in an effort to avoid future financial hardship. If you (or someone you know) do not use electronic giving, please go to

the DONATE button at sttimothymesa.org and follow the simple instructions for safe electronic giving to the General Collection.

We now have “text to give”! Simply text “Sttims” to 555888 and it will take you to the general fund page. Give it a try. We rely heavily on donations through the collection basket at Mass. Thank you!

Please note: Due to increased Internet traffic, you may encounter difficulty with electronic giving. Please do not despair. We have also added a new and secure drop box between the office and Church doors.

Here are the basics of connecting to live-streamed Mass:

• Mass is live-streamed at youtube.com/sttimothymesa.

• If this still doesn’t work and you’re on a computer or

• Those not familiar with YouTube might want to try in advance of tuning in to Mass.

• Music is added to the slide that precedes the beginning of

Mass, this way you can tell if you’re connected.

• In attempts to increase the quality of our live stream of

St. Timothy Masses, we are experiencing occasional technical difficulties and growing pains. We are working to provide you with the best experience to celebrate Mass from your homes.
