MAKES 4 DRINKS PREP 5 MIN

in Baltimore
4 cups ice
8 oz. fresh orange juice
6 oz. pineapple juice
4 oz. cream of coconut (such as Coco Lpez)
2 oz. rum
2 oz. vodka
112 oz. orange liqueur
4 lime wedges for garnish
In a blender, puree the ice,
orange juice, pineapple juice,
cream of coconut, rum, vodka
and orange liqueur. Divide
among 4 stemmed glasses.
Garnish with the lime wedges.

LONG ISLAND SWEET TEA
MAKES 1 DRINK PREP 5 MIN
INSPIRED BY: The Belmont Stakes
on Long Island, NY
Ice
1 oz. gin
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. rum14 oz. tequila
46 oz. sweetened black tea
Orange slice
Fill a highball glass almost to the
top with ice. Add the gin, lime juice,
rum and tequila; add enough tea
to ll the glass. Stir and garnish
with the orange slice.
2 mint sprigs
1 1-by-2-inch strip orange peel, removed with a vegetable peeler
2 tsp. sugar
2 dashes Angostura bitters, or more to taste
Crushed ice
2 oz. bourbon
1 maraschino cherry
In an old-fashioned
glass or julep cup,
using a muddler or
a wooden spoon,
muddle 1 mint sprig,
the orange peel, sugar
and bitters. Fill the
glass with crushed ice.
Add the bourbon;
stir until cold, about
a dozen times. Garnish
with the cherry and
the other mint sprig.
