Lonestar has experienced considerable growth, especially in just the past few years. The company provides services for drilling operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and now also in the U.S.A, which has also seen expansion into the infrastructure sector. WHAT IS HYDRO-EXCAVATION? The process of excavating rock and soil to expose underground utilities and pipelines. Uses pressurized water to agitate the earth, and a powerful vacu- um to remove the soil and debris. Non-destructive method of excavating which replaces a conven- tional backhoe and manual digging. THE BENEFITS OF HYDRO-EXCAVATION Safer and faster than traditional excavation methods when oper- ating around sensitive infrastructure. Can excavate frozen ground because of onboard water heaters.
