Trying to fit LCGC into a neat slot is virtually impossible. They are adaptable, small or large group. LCGC are known for their up-tempo gospel flair, swingbeat, R’n’B, traditional and soulful arrangements, with their invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics - LCGC are outstanding

to watch! It’s 50+ members perform just about anywhere, private corporate functions, after-show parties, conferences, schools, cabaret functions, clubs, weddings, chr istenings, funerals, pr isons, churches, open-air festivals, theatres and concert halls.

LCGC have sung on the soundtrack for Walt Disney’s “The Lion King”, performed for Nelson Mandela at the unveiling of his statue in Parliament Square in London, supported Madonna on stage during Live 8, represented the British Council at international festivals in Zambia ,

Ghana & Zimbabwe, appeared at the memorial concert for the victims of July 7th London bombings in Regents Park, opened at main stage Glastonbury and put gospel for the first time on the BBC Proms map.

In 1982 a dream and a vision came alive. Revd. Bazil Meade, with the help of Lawrence Johnson, Delroy Powell and John Francis made a mark in history pioneering the first concert gospel choir in the UK. LCGC nurtured over the next two decades more than 200 members from all areas of London and its suburbs.

“We like to customise our packages to meet your requirements and suit your needs to help your day be magical!”

five singers and a keyboard player. The Choir will sing up to five songs during the ceremony, you can choose where in the service you would like them, for example: two songs as the guests arrive, one song as the bride walks down the aisle, one song during the signing of the register and one song for the recessional.

We have a list of songs that you can choose from, but if there is a special song that you would like and it is not on our list, then we will learn one new song especially for your wedding day at no extra charge!

If your wedding is in a Church, the Choir will be happy to sing along to all of the hymns, however you will need to provide your own organist.

We will sing at your reception venue and provide a Choir of five singers and a keyboard player to sing for 30 minutes (approx 5 songs).

We will sing to welcome your guests to your venue and as they have their first drinks.

We have a list of songs that you can choose from, but if there is a special song that you would like and it is not on our list, then we will learn one new song especially for your wedding day at no extra charge!

We will do a combination of the two packages above.

A Choir of five singers and a keyboard player will arrive at your Church or civil service and sing up to five songs.

The Choir will then travel to your reception and sing for 30 minutes while your guests are having their welcome drinks.

We like to customise our packages to meet your requirements and suit your needs to help your day be magical! Some ideas to customise your package may include having more or less singers, the Choir singing longer than suggested, adding a string quartet to play along with the Choir’s songs, having an evening performance by GroovZone our function band... if you have ideas let us know!

LCGC were the Gospel Choir as seen in the film ‘Love Actually’ and we love to recreate the scene by singing ‘All You Need is Love’ with the strings accompanying. USO are a unique ensemble, introducing a groovy twist on the classic string quartet by adding in percussion and bass. Soulful arrangements of lush strings and funky rhythms combine to create a fresh modern and classy sound. USO have recently developed a new chill out set, DJ set and the USO Big Band, featuring orchestra, band and vocalists, to provide entertainment for your entire event, from drinks reception through dinner and onto the dancefloor. 2009 events have so far included WOMAD New Zealand, the Cannes Film Festival and the Basel Art Fair.

USO Chill-Out Set (4-piece ensemble) - String Quartet with electronic production - includes chill out classics such as Les Nuits (Nightmares on Wax) and Edge Hill (Groove Armada). Can start off gently and build in tempo.

One and a quarter hours of material - played straight through or in two sets. Perfect for during a drinks reception.

USO 6-piece Acoustic ensemble - String quartet plus percussion & double bass. Our original set, with 3 hours of material to choose from (including some reggae classics!) played in 3 x 45 minute or 2 x 1 hour sets. Often a good choice during dinner.

USO DJ Set (7-piece ensemble) - String quartet, percussion, sax/vocals and DJ. Upbeat soulful house music/latin grooves. Great for after dinner.

USO Big Band - Featuring orchestra, live band and vocalists. For an event where you want to get everyone grooving on the dancefloor to songs they know and love ). A classy alternative to a covers band. Available in different sizes.

� Please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

� To confirm your date in our diary we need a £500 deposit.

� Send your booking form with a cheque (made payable to ‘Choir Connexion Ltd’) for your deposit of £500 to: LCGC Weddings, Choir Connexion Ltd, Brookdale House, 75 Brookdale Road, London, E17 6QH.

� Once your deposit is received we will send you a contract to sign and send back to us.

� The contract will be a receipt of your deposit.

� The balence needs to be paid at least ten working days before your wedding date.

� Notice in writing must be given for cancellation. The £500 deposit is non-refundable.

� Cancellation clause:

1. 60 days or more before the date of the wedding, 50% of the total fee is due.

2. 30-60 days before the date of the wedding, 75% of the total fee is due.

3. Within 30 days before the date of the wedding, 100% of the total fee is due unless otherwise negotiated and agreed.

� If any performance is rendered impossible by reason of flood, earthquake, war or civil strife, hurricane, industrial disturbance, strike, fire, failure or delays to scheduled transport, road or traffic delays, and other facilities, illness or death or other acts of God, then neither party shall have any claim for damages against the other.

� It is your responsibility to ensure that there is a power point near where the Choir will sing for the keyboard player.

� You will need to provide us with a name and contact number (mobile) for the day of the wedding.

� The Choir will arrive at least 30 minutes before the time that they are required on the day.

� You will need to supply us with a detailed map of your venue, including postcode.

� If we are required to learn a new song you will need to send us a copy of the track on CD.

� We regret that CD’s can not be returned so we would advise that you do not send the original CD. We will also need a copy of the lyrics.

� Only one new song is included in the package. If you request more than one song that is not on our list the we can quote accordingly.

� All songs suggested by you need our approval. LCGC have the right to refuse to sing songs that contain inappropriate content.

� LCGC have the right to interpret any song that you request us to sing in a ‘gospel’ style. Therefore our version may not be identical to the CD.
