Have you spotted our teambuzzing about the streets ofStonehouse in our brand-
new Location-mobiles?In April our new VolkswagenUps! arrived, ready for action. The team were all excited to getin and try them out. We havetwo cars so we can cope withdemands of our busy schedule.Did you know we often have morethan 15 appointments to meet aday? With our branded cars werealways available and ready forappointments.
They are already provingpopular with people waving andsmiling when they see us goingpast - why not give us a wave?
Negotiator Kate Field says,The reaction from people isgreat. The cars are really eye-
catching and its a brilliant way forus to connect with people in thetown.
Location chose the VW Up! fortheir company vehicles as theyare one of the most fuel-efcientin their class with incredibly lowCo2 emissions, which is veryimportant to us.
The cars already feel like theyare part of the Location family, sowe thought it would be fun to givethem names - and this is whereyou can help. See the star belowfor more information on how toenter our competition.

Have you thought about what wouldhappen to you and your family if youwere unable to work due to an accident orillness?
Many people believe that if they shouldlose the ability to work by falling ill orhaving an accident, the state would stepin, or their employer would continue topay them. Employers are only legallyrequired to cover sick payments as part ofthe statutory requirements for 28 weeks andmany employers may only offer full salarycover for limited time.
The rules governing sickness benetclaims have recently changed dramatically. The maximum state sick pay is currently85.85 a week which is the equivalentto just over 4,000 a year. Would this beenough to cover all your current outgoingsand commitments? How would this affectyour lifestyle? If you have a family, could you cope on a signicantly reducedincome?
Around 35% of households with twochildren have no savings to fall back onshould one of them lose their income*.
Loss of income, whether as a result ofillness or an accident can be devastating.
Income protection gives you the peaceof mind that your monthly outgoings areprotected by paying a regular tax-freebenet in the event of illness or injury.
There are a number of income protectionproducts available to suit anyone, all withbenets that could ease the pressure and
offer support if theworst happens. I takethe time to ensure Ind the best coverfor you. Why notspeak to me todayto ensure that youare not only fullycovered but also thatyou are fully coveredfor the best possibleprice?
Please note that you should never cancelan existing policy prior to taking out a newone without fully investigating the genericand individual elements that are covered.

Happy birthday to us!
To celebrate our seventh (yes seventh!) year of business in Stonehousewe gave away 70 Location cupcakes and 70 helium balloons to thebusinesses and residents of the town on Saturday 27 April. Kate and
Peter braved the chilly weather in shorts and T-shirts to help put a smile
on peoples faces. The cupcakes all went in less
than an hour! Its great to be able to say a bigthank-you for everyones support over the last
seven years, said Locations Martin Woolford.
Heres to the next seven!
Whatever cakes your fancy!

BOWLED OVER:Rolling the pitch in Frampton ready for a match - lets hope for a sun-drenched season this summer!
T
he Wiggo effect swept the nation last summer and
this year even more people will be donning theirhelmets, dusting off the lycra and getting out in thesunshine on their bikes.
Tips for beginners Safety is rst and foremost. Wear a helmet at all times.Make sure you get one tted properly at a specialistshop. Also get tted for your bicycle. Its worth seekingadvice from the experts who will be able to guideyou to the correct size and make of bicycle. They willalso help you ensure the seat is inthe right position so that you are nothyperextending.
Make sure to dress for the weather -remember you are likely to be out in theelements for long periods of time. Wearsunscreen and sunglasses. Weargloves to protect your handsfrom the wind and consider ahat or ear protector to keepyours ears warm.
Stretch your hamstrings, quads and calfs beforeriding to loosen upyour muscles and allowincreased blood ow toyour feet.
When you get out there try to start slowly. For
beginners, the key is to start with something simple andin an environment where there are not too many hazardsor obstacles. As you build up your condence, you canstart to go faster and on more tricky terrain.
Get a riding partner. As with any training programme, the hardest thing is to start. Having a cycling buddy is agreat way to keep you motivated.
Try to pedal on lower gears and in circles using thelegs to push and pull right around the circle, not juststomping on the downward stroke.
As with any form of exercise hydrate frequently andcool down when you have nished.
Get out there! We are so lucky inGloucestershire to have such
beautiful scenery all aroundus. A bike is the perfect
mode of transport to beable to enjoy and takein the glorious sights;
whether its a charmingCotswold village, or astunning hillside viewacross a Cotswold
escarpment.Try these excursions:
The pub crawl
The Cotswold Conservation Board has suggesteda pretty 20-mile route through some of the areasprettiest villages. Starting and nishing in Tetbury, theroute passes through Cherington, Kemble and evenWestonbirt arboretum and lasts between 4-6 hours. There are various pubs and tea rooms along the way!More information can be found at:www.cotswoldsaonb.org.uk
Off-roading If getting off the beaten track is more your thing, thereare some fantastic trails across the area. The Forest ofDean offers a huge variety for families, beginners, or themore experienced. Find more at: www.fodmtb.com
Leigh Woods in Bristol is also a great place for cycliststo stretch their legs. There are tracks for different abilitiesand the Forestry Commission has a carefully designatedindependent route for walkers and cyclists. Find more at:www.forestry.go.uk and search for Leigh Woods.
Get on your bike this summer and enjoy the ride
