13 Mild Steel Piping works Black steel pipe of schedule 40(s) complete with bends, tees, elbows, reducers, socket, union etc. as per requirement, drawing and direction. Pipe work shall be complete with pipe hangers, vibration isolator brackets, support etc. All pipe fittings otherwise specified shall be threaded / welded end type. Cutting of pipe thread and sealing the thread with proper type of sealing compound shall be done leak proof. Pipe work along with fittings shall be suitable to withstand a test pressure of 15g/cm2

All pipe including MS materials required for pipe installation work shall be painted with two coats of red oxide primmer after proper cleaning. Synthetic enamel paint shall have to be used on red oxide primer for all pipe hangers / supports and condenser water piping.

3 Sheet metal DuctingDuct works include Tees, bends, elbows, reducers, offsets, etc. with prime quality sheet. The ducts shall be complete with necessary angle, flange bracing. Stiffeners etc. made of M.S. Angle / Flat bar. Approved sealant shall have to be used to make duct leak proof. Before installation duct inside shall be cleaned. All hangers shall have to be painted with red oxide paint. SMACNA standards shall have to be followed for construction.

Opposed blade type Volume Control Damper shall be made with 18 SWG Galvanized iron sheet metal construction painted with 2 coats of synthetic black paint. The Damper shall be flanged end type suitable to mount on flanged end duct. The depth of Damper shall be 150-160 mm. The Damper shall have adjustable locking arrangement from outside duct. Before positioning the Contractor will coordinate with the Client for keeping ceiling opening for maintenance and operation. Damper sizes and location shall be as per drawing.

9.0 Split Damper pcs 85Split Damper shall be constructed with 24 BWG sheet steel wrapped over aerofoil type wooden frame. Damper shall be complete with adjustable locking arrangement and suitable to operate from outside of duct. Constructional details shall have to be shown in Shop drawing.

10.0 Expansion Tank set 1Expansion Tank shall have to be constructed with double layered PVC tank equivalent to Gazi/Padma/Polycon. It shall be complete with water line with float valve assembly, quick fill arrangement, over flow line, drain line and chilled water system pipe connection line and inspection door.

11.0 Mechanical Services Switch Board (MSSB)Electrical power distribution board shall be constructed with16 SWG sheet steel painted with epoxy paint and shall house MCCBs, MCBs, Busbars, Starters, Overload protector for motors, etc. All MCCBs, MCBs, shall be of brand DORMAN SMITH / SIEMENS /ABB or equivalent. Front panel shall be with Voltmeter, Ampere meter, phase indicators, Start stop button, etc. Other details shall be as per drawing and corresponding technical Specifications.

13.0 Split type Air conditioners Split Air conditioners shall be composed of one outdoor Condensing unit and one Indoor Fan Coil Unit. The Condensing unit shall be consisted of compressor(s), Air Cooled condenser, Condenser Fan, etc. The Indoor Fan Coil units are consisted of evaporator coils with fans, etc. These units shall be factory assembled, internally wired, fully refrigerant charged condensing unit, tested under strict quality standards. The Condensing unit shall be suitable for outdoor installation. Capacity be as per following schedule.

21.0 Operation and maintenance (9 hr/day basis) year 1

During operation and maintenance work, the Contractor shall have to depute one Electrical / Mechanical Engineer, one technician and one operator. All must have experience in this field for operation and maintenance of the system. During operation and maintenance if any defects is detected, it is to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost. Log book for one hourly record shall be maintained by the Contractor and shall be submitted to the Owner in every week.
