Labour Market Study One of the action items from the

Labour Market Study: Create a “Made in Quinte” program to add

pride to, and raise awareness of, of products manufactured in the Greater Bay of Quinte

Region

• Encourage local residences to purchase more locally made products • Raise the awareness and profile of the local manufacturing sector and the

benefits our local manufacturers bring to the region. • Provide information on local companies to youth considering potential

career paths available in the local manufacturing sector • Provide information and case studies for local “Ambassadors” who are

assisting the QEDC in promoting the region • Promote and profile the region’s strength in manufacturing to potential

investors and companies considering new manufacturing locations. • Develop new supply local supply chain linkages and opportunities
