Born and raised 35 minutes outside of Atlanta, GA, Merrilee was bitten by the radio bug in college after landing an internship as a member of the Q102 Morning Crew at Rome Radio Partners. When the internship ended, she stayed to work as a news reporter for a sister station, WRGA News, until graduating from Shorter University with a BA in Communication Arts. She moved to Pensacola to marry her devastatingly handsome Navy husband and was blessed to join the best radio station in town shortly thereafter – Cat Country 98.7!

Cat Pak Morning Show 5a-10a Cat Pak Morning Show 5a-10aBorn and raised in California, Brent started working on-air at the young age of 14. After receiving his college education at San Diego State, Brent and his wife Angela moved their 3 children to Pensacola and have been blessed ever since. They are all actively involved in the community. Brent served as the 2011 President of Manna Food Pantries Board of Directors and works hard for cancer awareness.

Candy Ruddy, a Washington DC native, has called Pensacola home for nearly two decades. She has more than twenty-five years of broadcasting experience and now co-hosts the Cat Pak Morning Show with Brent Lane. Candy is an Impact 100 member and has graduated from Leadership Pensacola. She has helped raise money for local non profits including Manna Food Pantries, the Gulf Coast Kids House, and the Children's Home Society. Candy also enjoys talking about herself in third person.


BO DALTON Born and raised in Arkansas, Bo began his radio career as a part time air talent in 1995 at Real Country 104.9. One year later he was hired by heritage CHR KMCK Power 105.7 to join their morning show. By 2007, Bo joined the Jonesboro Radio Group; recently doing the afternoon drive show on 104.9 The Fox. Bo spends his down time with wife Rhonda and their 3 cocker spaniels. He is an avid country music lover and is excited to be apart of your drive home!

JOHN PICKENS

John Pickens was born in Arlington, Texas but raised in Pensacola. He

graduated Woodham High School in Pensacola, and radio has always

been a consistent passion of his for as long as he can remember. His love

of country music and radio brought him to Cat Country 98.7 where you

can hear him on weekends.

Weekend Warrior

Tom "Tom Cat" Schwarz has lived in Pensacola for almost 20 years after

moving from the Ft. Lauderdale and has been in broadcasting for even longer! When he’s not on air he’s

either serving the community as a local Firefighter or being a DJ. Tom is dedicated to helping others and

can be heard holding down the fort on most weekends.

Blake is back in Pensacola and he’s excited to rejoin the Cat Country 98.7 on air team. He served as a

weekend personality/promotions coordinator previously before

leaving to accept a night air show position with WABB-FM in Mobile.

Prior to his return, Blake worked as a television reporter for WKRG-

TV. He’s enjoying reconnecting with listeners so don’t be shy!

Joe Ford moved to Pensacola from Ohio in late 2014. He earned a

degree from Ohio Center for Broadcasting in Columbus. Joe has

always been passionate about radio. You can hear his natural

passion live at 5am with the Cat Pak Morning Show with the latest

news updates.
