Please consult the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials for a complete description and eligibility for entry into these classes. The exhibitor is fully responsible for entering the dog in the correct class(es)/height division. Dogs running in

a lower height division than they are eligible for will be eliminated.

HEIGHT DIVISIONS

REGULAR PREFERRED HEIGHT AT WITHERS Handlers may opt to run their dog in a higher height division.

MEASURING AND HEIGHT CARD INFORMATION

It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to have their dog measured at any trial necessary. It is also the exhibitor’s responsibility to mark their entry form correctly as to measuring status. Be sure to

refer to Agility Rules and Regulations for full details Exhibitor is solely responsible for measuring at the trial.

You no longer have to include a copy of your jump height card.

You need to check the box “YES” on form if your dog will require

measuring at this trial. Check “NO” if your dog will not need measured.

DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER

All dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or an AKC Canine Partners listing number, or approved Foundation Stock Service

(FSS) breeds are eligible to participate in this trial. Dogs with a Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) must be spayed

or neutered in order to compete. Wherever the word “dog” is used it includes both sexes. Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf shall not be eligible, and neither

are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of

the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Puppies under four months of age are prohibited from the trial grounds.

OBSTACLES AND RING CONDITIONS

Obstacles will meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of the AKC Regulations

for Agility Trials. M.A.D. Agility’s equipment is within all specs to AKC requirements. 24” spaced weaves, break-away tires and rubberized contacts. Ring sizes will be 100’ x 100’ for all rings.

MEASURING OFFICIALS

No VMO currently scheduled at this trial. If any VMO offers to measure at this trial it will be announced in Final Conf. letter.

phone or verbal entries accepted. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Illegible entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Club will add a

$20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. No entry will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. No entry fee will be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by the action of the event committee.

REFUND POLICY: Bitches in season are not permitted to compete in agility trials. The Club will refund all but ten ($10.00) dollars per run of the entry fee for bitches unable to compete for that reason upon presentation of a note from

a veterinarian stating that the bitch is in season. The same refund will be given for any entered dog where a veterinarian determines that the dog should not run because of a medical condition. The same refund will be given where a medical doctor determines that the handler should not participate. All notes must be signed, dated, on official business letterhead and presented to the trial secretary

Trial Secretary will not be held responsible for entries or changes not received at all or not received by any deadline. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to follow up on any correspondence with the Trial Secretary before any deadline date. If you do not get an email reply back from the Trial Secretary it most likely means she did not get it and you need to try to contact again using an alternative form of communication.

COURSE WALK-THROUGHS AND WARM-UP INFORMATION

Handlers will be able to walk each course prior to the start of each class. No dogs will be

allowed on course during this time. Handlers with multiple dogs may request to walk with a different height other than the one they are entered in to help accommodate conflicts. It is the handlers responsibility to coordinate conflicts by consulting the judge and ring gate steward.

Handlers are not permitted to move themselves on the gate sheets.

ADDITIONAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

1. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED ON SHOW GROUNDS. 2. All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring or at the

practice jump. 3. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to

its acceptance. 4. Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are familiar with AKC agility

rules and regulations and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely.

5. Telegraph, telephone, email, AKC online entries, fax, and unsigned entries will not be

accepted. 6. All calls to the Trial Secretary must be before 2 PM Mon – Fri or 9am-9pm Sat / Sun. 7. Entries not on official AKC entry forms or photocopies of entry forms without agreement

and rules printed on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT acceptable and will be returned!

8. Postdated checks and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The club

treasurer will add a collection fee of $20.00 to the amount of each returned check. 9. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms. Entry fees do not have to be

refunded in event of such error.

10. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at the show site. Failure to do so will result in dismissal.

11. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for

further judging will be excused. 12. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up the judging schedule. Owners or agents alone

are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the agility ring when they are called to be

judged. 13. It is expressly understood that every dog and child at this trial are in the care,

custody and control of its owner, handler, or parent during the entire time the dog or

child is on the trial premises. Any exhibitor whose dog and/or child create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior, may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In

such case, no refund of any fees will be made. 14. Neither DDTC nor IN THE NET are responsible for the loss of, damage to, or death of any

dog exhibited, or the possessions of any participant, whether the result of accident or any

other cause. In The Net can not be held responsible for any disciplinary actions issued on any exhibitor or their dogs by the Trial Committee throughout the event. Neither DDTC or IN THE NET is responsible for damage to cars from trial participants, public spectator or

any other sport activities at IN THE NET. 15. Declination of Entries: The Sponsoring Club may decline any entries for cause and may

refuse to receive or may remove dogs on account of disease, viciousness or other causes

and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Dauphin Dog Training Club, it’s members or IN THE NET facility and personnel or any official thereof.

16. Trial Secretary is not responsible for incorrect information on any entry. Trial Secretary is

not responsible for entries or emails not received on time or not received at all.

17. Treasurer may opt to mail refunds after the trial. 18. Wait List after closing will be offered. Wait list limit – maximum of 25

dogs. Wait list closes October 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM. A full refund will be reimbursed to any entrant only in the event their entry can be replaced by a wait-list entry.

DAY TO DAY MOVE UPS

Per American Kennel Club Regulations for Agility Trials, dogs may be moved up to a higher class, at the request of the Owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title. Before the trial, move-ups may be made prior to the move-up deadline via email to [email protected] or USPS in writing to: Cyndi Kepner, 118 School St., Burnham, PA 17009. Verbal move ups will not be accepted. Move ups are due in writing by Monday, 10/14/2019 by 6 pm the week of the trial. Day-to-Day Move-ups WILL BE ACCEPTED in writing at the trial within 15 minutes of the last run of the trial day for the following day(s) and cannot be

conveyed via fax, email, phone or verbally. They must be given to the Trial Sec. in writing that day. Forms will be available in the MOVE UP BOOK provided where Score Posting book binders are the DAY OF TRIAL.

(WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THIS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE AKC CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES AND GUIDELINES.

INSTRUCTIONSHandlers whose dogs measure into the 8” through 20” regular jump height divisions may opt to

enter in a higher or 24-choice height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs who measure into the 24” regular jump height division may not enter 24-choice. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or

lower than their proper height division.

All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.

Dogs listed in the AKC Canine PartnersSM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club’s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box.

Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 233-9767.
