Lindsey Parrish is the Danville Regional 2020 Quest for Excellence Winner. She has been serving seniors in our community since 2010 when she first started as a CNA at the age of 16. Her goal from the start was to acquire the skills and knowledge it took to provide the best care for her residents. Lindsey became an RN in 2016 and has received specialized wound and infectious disease training. Lindsey shows compassion for our residents through actively listening to their concerns and addressing them. She has built strong relationships with the residents at Danville Regional Rehabilitation. One resident described her as “the highlight to my day, always positive and helpful”. Her teammates also emphasize her positive attitude and work ethic and describe her as “a true role model to our new staff, who daily exhibits the excellence we strive to achieve”. Lindsey says the most rewarding part of her job “is watching the residents heal physically and spiritually. Seeing them improve and knowing that my co-workers and I had a part in it.” She loves getting to know the residents and their families and being someone that they rely on. We could not be more proud of Lindsey or more appreciative of her ability to exemplify our values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. We look forward to her further growth with American Senior Communities. Lindsey Parrish — RN — Danville Regional Rehabilitation
