What do you think Lincoln meant by his words in the Gettysburg Address?
Lincoln wanted the words that are said in the Declaration of Independence that “all men are created equal” be lived up to.
He also believed that nation could be brought back together out of the deaths that happened at the battle of Gettysburg.
