Jungmann Estrichbau considers purchase of TransMix a complete success Like a lottery win for screed professionals

Sulzfeld /Aichtal, Germany August 2015 – Jungmann E strichbau received delivery of

its first TransMix in December of last year. The re sults of working with the "TransMix"

transport, mixing and delivery system for self-leve lling floor screed were thoroughly

positive, mainly because it was possible to plan pr ojects much more flexibly and

economically due to the lack of reliance on buildin g material deliveries.

"For us, this machine is like winning the lottery", says Michael Jungmann, owner of

Jungmann Estrichbau. Putzmeister salesman Carsten Tiepermann is hardly surprised about

the exuberant feedback from his customer. He knows that screed professionals can work

much more easily and flexibly with the fully automatic transport, mixing and delivery system

from the construction machinery manufacturer in Aichtal.

For the master workshop based in Sulzfeld near Karlsruhe, this investment has already paid

dividends. A job in Bauerbach nearly Bretten in Germany is one such example, where

approx. 200 m² of self-levelling floor screed had to be placed in a detached house. The

TransMix was initially loaded using a wheel loader. It was possible to start the delivery

process immediately after arriving at the construction site without spending time setting up

equipment.

Michael Jungmann sees one major benefit: "We can plan and execute trips based entirely on

economic efficiency without having to coordinate concrete and mixing equipment or wait for

material".

More jobs completed more quickly in a single TransM ix working day

The TransMix saves valuable working time: it can be conveniently loaded with aggregate

from a silo or wheel loader. Calcium sulphate for calcium sulphate self-levelling floor screed

or cement compound for cement floor screed, for example, is poured into the split binder

chamber.

The self-levelling floor screed is placed directly at the construction site in a computer-

controlled process. A maximum of eight recipes can be stored, processed automatically and

then logged.

Two workers can already prepare the next batch of screed during the active delivery process.

The mixer and hoses must then be flushed through once to prevent contact with the binder.

The cement floor screed can then be placed using additional aggregate. Remaining

quantities of material and packaging waste are not produced so the machine can move on to

the next job without delay.

About the TransMix 3200

The TransMix 3200 is a fully automatic transport, mixing and delivery system

designed for the economical delivery of self-levelling floor screed. Whether

mounted on a 4-axis chassis or a semi-trailer – every Brinkmann TransMix from

Putzmeister is a unique (customer tailored system). The trough is the centrepiece

of the machine and can be divided into a maximum of four chambers according to

customer requirements. Depending on the vehicle, the total capacity is between

16 m3 and 49 m3.

Computer-controlled metering of materials ensures that the screed quality remains constant

throughout the entire delivery process. The powerful worm pump at the rear ensures a

permanent flow of material. It conveys self-levelling floor screed with a maximum particle size

of 12 mm and up to 18 m3 an hour.

There is no need to wait for

deliveries with a truck mixer

because the TransMix is

simply loaded by the wheel

loader or from the silo prior

to use.

The delivery process can begin immediately after the machine arrives at the

construction site. No valuable working time is spent setting up equipment on site.
