There are several lightingrequirements forairports:

•Em: value below which the average illuminance on the specified surface is not allowed to fall•Uo: ratio of minimum illuminance to average illumunance on a surface•GRl: upper limit of glare by the CIE Glare Rating system•Ra: gives the minimum colour rendering indices for the situation in column 2

This European standard does not specifieslighting requirements with respect to the safetyand health of workers at work and has not beenprepared in the file of application of Article 137of the EC treaty, although the lightingrequirements, as specified in this standard,usually fulfil safety needs…
There could be divergences to requirements ofother member states…

there is an higher accordance in the ASR to the DIN EN as tothe ICAO
