All the luminaires are dimmable without loss and stand out with high levels of effi ciency, luminous effi cacy and very good color rendering.

Irrespective of the choice of luminaire, all Lunis 2® lights make a convincing statement with equivalent quality of light and color rendering. The basis for this are the precisely matched high gloss refl ector components.

A special coating process is particularly benefi cial. It protects the refl ector surface and makes it easy to clean. The dip angles in the Lunis 2® family can be set up to 40°.

Perfect for the stationary and mobile offi ceWhether it be the reception desk, in foyers, waiting areas, conference rooms or meeting rooms – these days every-body does their work on a screen. This means that the requirements for standardized workplace lighting are no longer restricted to classic offi ce situations. Siteco developed the special Lunis 2® Offi ce Refl ector Lampfor this new trend. Its patented facet refl ector provides uniform light distribution.

The Lunis 2® LED downlights even have a double light technology system: First of all, a barreled optical system allows the diodes to appear as pleasant diffused points of light. Direct and refl ected glare are reduced. The facet refl ector then transfers the concentrated LED light points into a highly uniform light distribution.

The precise free-form refl ectors offer a choice of various different beam characteristics. These are available in both micro and mini sizes.

Extremely effi cient and future-proof LED technologyThe luminaires in the Lunis 2® LED family stand for particular sustainability, cost-effi ciency and maintenance-friendliness with high levels of quality of light. Above all, there are two factors which ensure unique planning and future-proofi ng: The consistently implemented platform concept, based on the two sizes of mini and micro, whose individual components have been developed and optimized from the ground up.

And the incorporation of LED modules of the highest quality and components that comply with the ZHAGA standard. This makes it possible, during the manufacture, to change the Lunis 2® LED over to new, more effi cient LED module generations very quickly and to therefore pass this service benefi t directly to our customers.

LED technical development continues to stride

to exchange – LED modules make sure that the

Sophisticated thermal management

The ingenious design means that the Lunis 2® LED downlights

have particularly high levels of performance and lifespan. Their

photometric modules and heat sinks are combined in each case

to form a functional unit. Dependant on the lumen output, we use

active or passive cooling. On variants having low luminous fl ux,

the arrangement, distance and size of the cooling fi ns ensure that

the maximum possible surface is fl owed over to provide thermal

dissipation to the ambient air and optimum thermal conduction

within the heat sink. A special surface fi nishing also makes the

heat sink largely resistant to chemical and mechanical infl uences.

On the variants ≥ 3,500 lumen rated luminous fl ux, a particularly

quiet and very durable and powerful active cooler ensures the

right operating temperature.

Perfect presentation with variable lighting accents The Lunis 2® Spot supplements the Lunis 2® LED downlights family with a variable spotlight for targeted lighting accents in shops, markets, public buildings and museums. The spotlight uses the Lunis 2® micro downlights as the basis and thus has the same highquality fi nish and extremely precise lighting technology

as the entire Lunis 2® family. As far as design is concerned, this spotlight has adopted the shadow gap of the Lunis 2® family and can therefore be combined with Lunis 2® downlights in projects without any problem – general lighting and accent lighting in one.

The Lunis 2® Spot is suitable for a wide variety of individual

Intelligent function and aesthetic designLunis 2® micro controls and Lunis 2® micro emergency integrate modern light management systems (LMS) and emergency lighting functions using LED technology into the Lunis 2® family – simply and modular. The modules, which can be used both individually and in combinations,

not only extend the Lunis 2® micro family but can also be retrofi tted. All DALI-enabled luminaires without integrated sensors or emergency lighting function can get an update via the external solution and can thus benefi t from the advanta-ges and potential savings of a light management system.

Lunis 2® micro controls – safe feeling for effi cient light

The Lunis 2® micro controls uses a sensor system to detect the

daylight level and motion, such as at workplaces or in hallways.

The control unit changes the lighting depending on this. Working

comfort increases and energy is saved. The Lunis 2® micro controls

works with a PIR sensor (Passive Infrared Sensor). It can assess the

infrared radiation generated by the moving object. Its detection angle

is 360° at an angle of incidence of 80°.

Lunis 2® micro emergency – intelligent assistance in buildings

The emergency lighting function facilitates standardized minimum

lighting intensity in accordance with DIN EN 1838 in the event of

failure of normal lighting. It is capable of providing the luminous

intensity used as the basis of the standard both for anti-panic and

for emergency lighting. The rated operating duration is defi ned in the

DIN EN 50172 standard, depending on the application. The Lunis 2®

micro emergency is available with a battery pack for one or three

hour running time and can ensure the stipulated minimum operating

duration in the event of emergency lighting.

The art of simple installationSIM – Snap-in-Mounting – is the name of the ingenious spring mechanism for easy installation of all Lunis 2® luminaires without the need for tools. Simple fi nger pressure on the lever of the SIM system is adequate to anchor the mounting ring securely in the ceiling cut-out.

The ready-to-use plug connections on the luminaires are then clicked into the mounting ring with a single hand movement. It permits installation in ceiling thicknesses from 1 to 40 millimeters.

Perfect installation in almost any ceiling structureRSS – Refl ector-Shifting-System – for perfect installation and alignment of Lunis 2® luminaires. It ensures that the refl ector is always correctly located fl ush in the luminaire ring or the ceiling. In combination with the corresponding matched recessed mounting ring, it opens up new possi-bilities of ceiling design: whether it be with a visible ring, colored decorative ring or no ring at all. Whether it be with front glass window, decorative glass attachment ring or

without any at all. The downlight always fi ts seamlessly into the ceiling and without loss of light characteristics. It is as easy as mounting in false ceilings to install the mounting ring in the concrete casting surround and to mount the luminaire module. These versatile accessories mean that problematic linking of trades on-site is a thing of the past. Additional expenditure in the installation process is no longer required.

Recess mounting ring –

for clean aesthetic lines

The mounting ring also serves as a narrow

cover for the hole in the ceiling. A single hand

movement is all that is needed to position

the recess mounting ring. Installed using the

SIM (Snap-in-Mounting) and with just a few

millimeters of plaster, it allows an aesthetic

highlight: The downlight and its discreet

shadow gap generate a precisely fi tting

image in the ceiling.

The concrete casting surround sets new

casting surround are around 60 percent less

than comparable products. This reduces the

effect on the static loading to a minimum.

Concrete casting surround

The aluminum housing has an optimized surface

coating. It provides very good thermal dissipation. At

the same time, it prevents oxidation processes during

the concreting phase. Two nail consoles are available:

The ceiling fl ush-mounting variant is particularly suited

to plastered concrete ceilings. The variant with twelve

millimeters spring-back highlights the aesthetic force

of a visual concrete ceiling.

The fl air for individualceiling designWhether it be rustic, historical, modern or aesthetic – the wide variety of accessories and attractive decorative attachments permit individual ceiling designs and creative accents. In addition we have decorative cover rings and decorative attachment windows and glass panels.

They can then be inserted with a single hand movement – simply using a bayonet base. The attachments change the ambiance of a room and permit rapid and atmospheric adjustment to a changing room aesthetic.
