Dear Amita Health Saint Joseph Hospital Supporters;

We are pleased to share that last year’s event was a roaring success. A portion of the proceeds were directed toward remodeling the Clinic waiting room, making it a more kid-friendly environment with fun wall decals, a mural and toys for children. In addition, Laboure was able to purchase the following pieces of medical equipment necessary to deliver high-quality care to our patients:

1. Pediatric exam tables and scales 2. A Colposcope for OB patients3. A low lying electric exam table for the OB and Internal Medicine Teaching Clinic4. An adult weight and height scale5. A vision screener

This year, Lift a Spirit will be held on Thursday, September 26th from 6pm. to 9 pm. at Punch Bowl Social in Fulton Market. We will feature food, open bar and various games and entertainment including bowling, karaoke, virtual reality, giant scrabble, dominos and arcade games.

Proceeds from this event will benefit initiatives focused on the health of underinsured patients at Saint Joseph Hospital’s Laboure Clinic. The Laboure Clinic provides high-quality care including mother, baby and pediatrics, an on-site lab and several specialty clinics. Through Lift a Spirit this year, we hope to raise $100,000 to benefit the families who depend on the Clinic for their care. Your contribution will make a difference to the most vulnerable children and families in our community.
