Globalisation Year 8 Global Change Lesson Aims: 1.Must develop an understanding of aspects of globalisation. 2.Should describe what is meant by globalisation with examples. 3.Could suggest problems of globalisation with examples. But why do we all recognise these logos? 1.Businesses often have branches in lots of different countries - most sell their goods and services all around the world. 2.They want to be recognised all over the world and advertising helps this (using logos) This is all part of globalisation. So What is Globalisation? Globalisation means how people and places in the world are becoming increasingly connected together, mainly by businesses. Can you think of any problems with this???? Task: You need to find the countries listed in the boxes, on the map.you can use an atlasremember to use the same colour/pattern in the boxes to create a key. PIT STOP PLENARY!!!!
