The concept3

The corpuls3 offers an entirely new and revolutionary design-concept for hospital care compared with tradi-tional compact defibrillator/monitoring devices. It is designed as a modular system and can be sepa-rated into:

Monitoring unit

Patient box

Defibrillator/Pacer unitThis means unrivalled ergonomics, functionality and flexibility:

• With the monitoring unit in your hand: Take control of the situation.

• Attach the patient box directly to the patient’s bed. Eliminate cable trap and tangle.

• Leave the defibrillator behind if it is not needed. Efficient working.

Naturally, you can also use the system as a compact or semi modular device. The system adapts to your needs and the circumstances of the mission.

Patient box

Maximum mobility,

wireless transmission

The lightweight patient box (just 1.0 kg) is the place where all sensor signals come together, are monitored and recorded. It can be placed near the patient and re-main there during the entire monitoring mission. The time-consuming connecting and dis-connecting of cables and sensors is no longer necessary. All sensors are pre-connected and can be used immediately, which means convenient handling and maximum safety for the patient. This en-sures uninterrupted monitoring, in partic-ular during critical phases like transferring the patient from stretcher to clinic bed.

The modular design of the corpuls3 enables you to disconnect the Defibrilla-tor/Pacer unit when it is not needed. The weight reduction not only gives you greater mobility and flexibility, but also provides all

the advantages of the corpuls3 regard-ing ergonomics and functionality.

At the EMS site you can benefit from the system modularity as well, as the defbrilla-tor can be disconnected when not needed and your work flow is considerably simpli-fied.

In-hospital resuscitation – RMTC

Maximum mobility

plus constant availability

– the corpuls3-RMTC

www.corpuls3.com

Your resuscitation team is responsible for all emer-gencies within the hospital and must be able to reach all hospital locations as quickly as possible.

The corpuls3-Resuscitation MedTec Cart (RMTC) enables the medical team not only to be ready for action at any time, but also ensures maximum mo-bility. By means of an integrated charging bracket,

the corpuls3 is permanently charged and ready for use immediately. Other requisite materials for in-hospital emergencies and resuscitations can be easily stored in its drawers and/or baskets. Carrying an oxygen bottle enables immediate oxygen therapy via inhalation or ventilation.

Furthermore, the RMTC provides a standardised bar system to which brackets for the monitoring unit

or the compact device corpuls3 or other medical products can be attached ergonomically. Addition-ally, up to four infusion bottles can be fixed to the telescopic infusion bottle holder.

Don‘t leave anything to chance in case of emer-gency!

In-hospital transport – TMTC

www.corpuls3.com

All-in-one solution for safe transport

– the corpuls3-TMTC

Intensive care teams daily have to transport several intensive care patients within the hospital or to con-tinuing diagnostics (e.g. CT, MRI), medical specialty departments or the operating room. During transport, the constant monitoring and medical care of the in-tensive care patients must be guaranteed at all times.

The corpuls3-Transport MedTec Cart (TMTC) of-

fers - in combination with the corpuls3 - the per-fect system solution for this challenging requirement:

• Mounting and power supply of all medical devic-

es (corpuls3, respirator, syringe pumps, suction pump) on one cart.

• Simple, safe and telescopic adaptation of the TMTC to every intensive care or hospital bed.

• Ergonomic and functional design and at once tilt-resistant and space-saving.

The TMTC can – adapted to the intensive care- or hospital bed – easily be moved by two people. It is ensured that no unintended disconnections of ca-bles, sensors, respiratory hoses, infusion lines, etc. can occur.

Application in Computed Tomography

www.corpuls3.com

Constant monitoring

of critical patients - even in the CT

The radiation exposure during computed tomogra-phy (CT) compels the hospital staff to temporarily leave the examination room during the medical im-aging process.

The modular system corpuls3 allows a complete monitoring of all vital parameters even through the protection window of the examination room. The wireless data transmission of all vital parameters in realtime from the patient box to the monitoring unit outside the examination room enables direct visibil-ity at all times. Thus the staff can immediately recog-nise acute changes of the patient‘s condition.

Thus the corpuls3 enables constant monitoring of the patient for the first time ever. No more unplug-ging and plugging to other, longer cables and sen-sors before or after the CT-examination.A trauma patient transferred from the shock room

with a corpuls3 does not have to be disconnected. In fact, a CT can be started immediately.
