SWOT ANALYSISStrength
Library is in separate building Library is automated Open Access System Wi-Fi Internet facilities with 3 number of computer systems
Weakness
Separate UPS is required for Library building Lack of brightness of tube lights (Hanging Chain Tube Light Arrangement should be incorporated) Need more Literate Staff to serve better to students & faculty. Separate Reading Room facility for students & faculty with sufficient space
Opportunities
To create apprenticeship programme in library for Diploma in Library Science students. Since Library is a technical oriented course, our education department can recruit technical staff for libraries to provide more services to users.
In future, if RUSA programme is implemented in our college, we can take initiation of implementing BLISc & MLISc (LISc- Library & Information Science) courses.
Threats Lack of Library Funding Policy.
