When we have visited 4 Grama Panchayat offices, most of the presidents of the Grama Panchayat are illiterates and ignorance. They did not have a minimum qualification and also lack of awareness about the role of president. If they are illiterate, most of the secretaries in the Grama Panchayat are going to mis-guide the president and overtake some powers.
The students of our college were happy to attend the Grama Panchayat to Know the practical experience and exchange their ideas, views and knowledge. In the meanwhile it creates awareness in the minds of our students while they are attending the Grama Panchayat.
