Libertine Shooting Script

00:00 – 22:19 --> The Universal opening graphic to introduce the large conglomerate behind my film.

22:20 – 25:13 --> An establishing shot of ‘The Harrodian School’ to set the scene and make the audience believe that it is a shot of a house belonging to one of the characters as opposed to a school.

25:14 – 53:12 --> A wide angle shot of the IPhone 4s as the alarm rings, which continues into a high angle shot of character three waking up from bed and then a medium shot of him sitting at the edge of his bed.

53:13 – 1:00:08 --> A low angle shot of character three in the bathroom sorting out his hair.

1:00:09 – 1:04:10 --> Medium / Wide angle shot of him walking outside of his bedroom and looking both left and right as his orientation is not quite up to usual speed implying that he is still very tired.

1:04:11 - 1:24:02 --> A long shot where character three walks towards the camera and then down the stairs bringing the distance between the camera and himself shorter providing the audience with a medium shot, close up and extreme close up shot of him. He then distances himself from the camera, which slowly becomes an over the shoulder shot.

1:24:03 - 1:41:23 --> A close-up shot of the mobile phone showing character three text messaging character one as to whether or not if he was ‘up for tonight?’

1:42:01 – 1:43:13 --> A medium paced panning shot of the sunset of a sunny day before all of the characters get ready for their night out with each other.

1:43:21 – 1:45:03 --> A collection of close-up shots and extreme close-up shots of character one getting ready by buttoning up his blazer and putting on his sunglasses. This will be portrayed through montage editing.

1:45:04 – 1:45:18 --> Another panning shot simply to set the scene and show the audience the time of day and the significance it has to the characters’ activities.

1:47:00 – 1:48:04 --> A collection of close-up shots of character two getting ready by doing up his tie and combing his hair. This will also be shown through montage editing.

1:48:12 – 1:49:23 --> Moving diagonal panning shot of the gates to a swimming pool to show the theme of class and status amongst the characters. This is also evident in the costume.

1:50:04 – 1:51:11 --> A collection of medium and close-up shots of character three getting ready by putting on his blazer and adjusting his tie.

1:51:12 – 1:53:00 --> An establishing shot of a small clock tower again used to show perceived class and wealth amongst the characters.

1:53:01 – 1:54:12 --> A collection of close-up and extreme close-up shots of character four getting ready by buttoning up his blazer, putting his sunglasses on and admiring himself in the mirror.

1:54:13 – 1:58:05 --> An image of the other company involved in the opening sequence known as ‘Roop Arora Productions’, which is not a

real company but the logo will look good in the context of the opening sequence.

2:00:08 – 2:08:11 --> A medium shot of character three putting on his blazer and walking past the camera. This will be briefly interrupted by more montage editing of other items of clothing worn such as a watch or a pair of shoes.

2:08:20 – 2:16:00 --> Character three walks down the stairs in his suit and is shown by a long shot and as he walks towards the camera passing through the boundaries of long and medium shots. He is then accompanied by character two also in his suit as they both continue down another flight of stairs.

2:16:01 – 2:20:06 --> A medium shot of character four walking out of the bathroom where he was previously and turning left towards the stairs downstairs.
