Leucophor BNB
Leucophor BNB
Universally applicable fluorescent brightener for cellulosic fibres and particularly suitablefor application on the padding machine, in the continuous bleaching process and finishingliquors
Leucophor BNB is a fluorescent brightener for cellulosic fibres and their blends withsynthetic fibres. Leucophor BNB produces brilliant whitening effects with a blue shadeand good light and wet fastness properties.
Leucophor BNB is distinguished by its low substantivity, good stability to peroxide andcompatibility with the products used in finishing white goods. It is therefore particularlysuitable for brightening woven and knitted goods by the padding process, for application
in the continuous bleach, in filling and handle finishes, as well as in resin finishes withmetal salt catalysts.
Leucophor BNB possesses an excellent levelling power which also facilitatesbrightening by the exhaust process and in the peroxide bleach on machines where workis carried out with a short l iquor ratio.

- with cation-active softeningagents (suitability should bedetermined in preliminary tests.
- if nitrate catalysts are applied,
the goods must be washed inorder to obtain optimum lightfastness ratings.
