Direct Impact Examples:CFC-based refrigerant leakage from HVAC stratospheric O3 depletion Construction activity erosion + sedimentation in nearby streams
Indirect Impact Examples:Selecting propane or H2O refrigerant reduces ozone depletion, but increases HVAC equipment size and therefore requires more electricity from an off site coal plant emitting additional greenhouse gases
