The impact categories, formerly credit weightings, are the environmental issues that LEED projects aim to address.

The certification levels are LEED® Certified™, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

The project team and owner will be sent a formal certificate of recognition, details about ordering a LEED plaque, and guidelines for project promotion and submitting project photography.

There are three levels of LEED credentials individuals can choose from based on their level of expertise and experience: LEED Green Associate, LEED AP (Accredited Professional), and LEED Fellow.
