STEP ONE BEFORE you listen, read the questions
carefully to know exactly what information is relevant.
Then, PREDICT possible answers.
Example: ‘What time of the day is it?’
(Possible answers: morning, afternoon, evening, night)

STEP TWO• Listen to the CD as many times as
necessary but remember that in the listening exam you will only be allowed to listen three times.
Do not try to understand every word! Concentrate only on the information needed to answer the questions.

STEP FIVE• Learn new vocabulary. Choose two or
