ENGLISH LANGUAGE Learning Outcomes
Listening
1. Listen attentively and follow instructions.

2. Speak clearly to express their thoughts, feelings and ideas.
3. Follow communication etiquette such as taking turns, and using appropriate eye contact and volume
in conversations or discussions.
Reading
4. Demonstrate basic word recognition skills (e.g know the letters of alphabet; able to pronounce words
accurately.

5. Demonstrate writing readiness and handwriting skills, such as letter formation, placement, sizing and spacing.

P1 and P2 Holistic Development Profile (HDP) Report
There will be a revised HDP Report for the P1 and P2 students.
The previous academic results table in the HDP will be replaced by the qualitative descriptor reported for each subject-specific Learning Outcomes (LOs).
