Disconnect
0Turn off work email on your phone over the weekend.
You can’t refocus and reenergize when you allow yourself to be reminded 24/7 of work-related issues to address and challenges to tackle…
0 If that causes too much anxiety, at least designate specific “email time/s” when your family/friends are otherwise engaged.
Schedule chores
Set boundaries for household tasks—what you don’t get done this weekend will wait until next. When your To Do list at home rivals your To Do list at the office, you won’t have time to unwind and reflect!!
Exercise
Exercise stimulates thinking and creativity. Make time for it on Saturday and Sunday!
Spend Quality Time with Your Favorite People
Wake up at the Same Time
Tired? Go to bed earlier. Keep your Circadian rhythm consistent so you can wake up refreshed and ready for Monday!
Sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday can make you tired and sluggish on Monday!
