The event will begin at the Otley Police station. Meet in the car park and we will go from there.
5 schools (10 children per school) will be cycling with Leeds City Council’s Road Safety and ‘ Travelwise ‘ team from the Otley Police Station through Leathley, onto Stainburn then into Arncliffe Crag for refreshments and exciting challenges and games.
Parents of the pupils on the ride are more than welcome to attend.

When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day’s sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay’s call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else’s heart. Diane Ackerman

On the 28th of June (the begining of the week) there will be a few technical workshops dotted around the city for those who you who need repairs, advice, tips and tricks or just want to get their hands dirty.
If you are unsure whether your bike is road ready, bring it in and a few of us bike nuts will look over it with you.
