A message from our Principal…
Good Afternoon Everyone!!
What a busy term we have had at Lavington Public School. I am sure you are all looking forward to
a much needed break!
Thankyou to the all students, teachers and parents who helped put together such a magnificent
Arts Festival. It was such an honour to see how talented our students are in many aspects of the
Arts. We certainly have some future artists in our school!
The Primary Quad was the place to be today! Our 3-6 students took on the annual task of
creating engaging Appeals Day stalls. These stalls raise a significant amount of money for the
charities that our SRC have selected, Stewart House, Carevan, Seabin and the Multiple Sclerosis
Society. It truly amazes me how much money can be raised from our silver coins! It was such a joy
to see our students having so much fun whilst raising funds. A highlight for everyone is ever
popular cake stall, the games of skill and the opportunity to have coloured hair for the day!
Over the next two weeks keep up your reading, pull out the board games and enjoy the sunshine!
Have a great holiday - see you all on Monday 14 October.
