FREEGreat Ways to Go and ExploreThe Go Explore JournalThis journal is a great tool for students to record their experience outside the classroom, and contains space to add information about where they’re staying, pre-visit notes, a daily journal about what they have seen and learnt, as well as space for relevant vocabulary. Not only is this useful for assisting in controlled assessment preparation, but will be a valuable momento of their time abroad.The Go Explore journal is available free for French Language groups. Spanish and German will be available in 2012.

Generic Workbooks & Town TrailsThese worksheets cover common situations that students will find themselves in and offer a more structured way of learning on tour. The series of questions will help to build on basic language skills and are ideal for students, covering topics such as ‘around town’, ‘about my hotel’, ‘at the cafeteria’, ‘out and about’ and ‘at the supermarket’. These are great for use prior to and whilst exploring the area.

Project WorkWe’ve prepared project work based on the visits incorporated within your itinerary, so you’ll easily be able to incorporate these challenging and enjoyable activities into your pre- and post-tour lesson plans. Your students will be able to conduct interviews with visit staff set around a specific topic and in the native tongue.

POTSDAMER PLATZA prime example of the new, vibrant Berlin. Students can practise their language skills in the numerous shops, cafés, restaurants and the fabulous Sony centre at this lively public square, once one of the busiest traffic intersections in Europe.

BERLIN MARKETSThe large indoor market in the centre of the city is an ideal place to put language skills to the test and pick up a bargain or two.

DDR MUSEUMThis interactive museum immerses students into daily life during the Communist Era in East Berlin, helping them understand the period in a unique and entertaining way.

THE STORY OF BERLINA fabulous museum that shows over 800 years of Berlin’s history, through a number of interactive exhibitions and sound and light shows. The exhibition text, and guided bomb-shelter tour, are available in both English and German.

PRO-LOG WORKSHOPLocated close to many of our most popular hotels, these workshops are taken, in German, by local teachers. There is a large focus on ‘practise’ and students are split in groups of up to 12, based on ability, to ensure individual participation.
