Salkowitz has beenpracticing Landscape Architecture inCalifornia since 1990, and his 20 years of workexperience encompasses many successfulprojects throughout the US, and theinternational community.

Formerly a Principal and Studio Director withone of the industry’s leading internationalhospitality and gaming-resort design firms,David brings with him a focus in leisure-resortand hospitality design and projectmanagement. In addition he exhibits an in-depth understanding of entertainment-oriented mixed-use projects, as well as"California-Lifestyle" influenced, multi- andsingle-family housing projects, and luxuryfamily estates.

Also a former Principal and Design Directorwith one of Southern California's premierresidential master-planning and landscape architecture firms, his project-visioning anddesign-development leadership skills are well-honed, and have been instrumental indirecting all aspects of design for a number of California and international master-plannedresidential projects. His art direction has included detail design for important planningelements, such as community entries, neighborhood recreation centers and parks, as wellas establishing the community landscape theme and identity.

David is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in LandscapeArchitecture, and a CLARB certified Landscape Architect licensed in the State of California(#4895). He is also a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and theUrban Land Institute.

Founding Partner Paul T. Wong’s 24 years ofexperience in the landscape architecture andplanning profession includes collaboration onlarge-scale communities, multi-familyresidential, international hospitality, mixed-use/retail, model homes and customresidences.

His career began in 1987 with a 13 year tenureat HRP LanDesign, where he was promoted toSenior Associate. In 2000 Paul’s professionalgrowth continued to flourished, when he co-founded Land Arc West, and nurtured thefledgling design company to an impressivemedium-size office of 35 employees.

Paul and his partner sold Land Arc West in2007 toMissionLandscapeCompanies, givingthem an instant presence in the landscapedesign-build industry. As Vice-President hedevoted his energies to the transition andintegration of the two companies, along with overseeing the daily operations and projectclient services, until his departure in 2011.

Paul’s project experience has taken him across California and to international destinationslikeChina andEgypt. Hebringswith himaglobal and regional design approachby applyingan initial broadview toaproject to ensure its appropriate fit into the fabric of the surroundingcommunities.

Paul’s participation and lead of project consultant teams, is underscored by his strength inproject management knowledge and experience, allowing him to confidently guide anyteam through the development and construction process.

ThePalazzo is the nation's largest Silver Leed certified building, and features 3 acres of lush roof-top-gardens with 7 swimming pools,3 spas, 5 fountains, and several themed architectural bar and pavilion structures, as well as 50 private canvas cabanas, alloverlooking the Las Vegas Strip on the 4th floor over the casino.

Paris Casino Resort - Las Vegas, NevadaThis 24 acre, $785million casinoproperty hasbeen in operation since 1999, and features iconicParisian architectural elements suchas a 5/8 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower, a reader-board sign in the shape of the Montgolfier Balloon, a two-thirds size Arc deTriomphe, and a replica of the famous La Fontaine des Mers fountain. A 2 acre Versailles inspired formal French garden and pooldeck are located on the roof-top above the casino, with themed cabanas, trellises, and mature canopy trees.

The ultra-modern, desert themed resort includes a 3 acre pool area with wading pools, swim-up bars and gaming, and private cabanas. Theentire pool area also converts into an outdoor concert venue, with an audience capacity of 3000.

Lombok Resort Golf Clubhouse - Lombok, IndonesiaThis luxury golf resort clubhouse has been carefully planned to nestle into the existing natural topography and pristine, tropicallandscape. The project is envisioned and themed after a traditional Indonesian family compound, and takes full advantage of thesweeping views across the golf course to the Indian Ocean. Terraced view decks with stepped fountains and lily ponds, spill downto the golf starter terrace. Terraced rice paddies with spillways, provide a dramatic backdrop to the 18th hole.

Mandalya Resort - Bodrum, TurkeyThe 42 acre resort, with 400 garden rooms and 37 villa suites with private plunge pool patios, is located on the Bodrum Peninsula,and is set into the steep coastal terrain overlooking the Aegean Sea. Amenities include a porte cochere drop-off with spectacularviews, a central pool area with terraced sun decks and cascading infinity-edge pools, as well as 3 tennis courts and meanderingtrails. Sand beaches, open lawn, and an island with a water sports boat dock are located near the waters edge.

Wynn Golf Course - Las Vegas, NevadaThe 18-hole, 7042 yard, par 70 golf coursewas designed byworld renowned golf course architect TomFazio, andwas constructedon the historic Desert Inn PGA course property. 800,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to create dramatic 45 feet elevationchanges, lakes and streams, and a 37 foot waterfall at the signature 18th hole. Approximately 1,200 mature pines were salvagedand re-used from the historic Desert Inn Golf Course, some as old as 50 years and over 60 feet tall.
