Level 1 Award or Level 2 Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills
Duration: 12 weeks (Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm)

• Take part in a one week team-building residential.
• Undertake a two-week work placement.

• Take part in Maths and English sessions to build, enhance and develop key functional skills.
• Plan for your future by applying for jobs, courses and other training opportunities.
Level 1 Award in Personal Development and Employability Skills Duration: 1 year (3 days a week)
Level 1 City & Guild’s Certificate in Employability Skills Duration: 18 weeks (3 days a week )
Level 1 Certificate Sport & Active Leisure Duration: 1 year (Full-time)
• Develop study skills.
• Build confidence in Maths & English while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
• Undertake a two-week work placement.
• Plan suitable progression routes for the future.
• Gain the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed on other College courses in the future.
• Take part in long-term industry based work placements.
• Develop the skills and attitudes needed to become a successful Apprentice.
• Build confidence in Maths & English while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
• Map out your future career path. • Develop your skills and initiate your links with major employers and universities.
• Undertake units in Health, Nutrition, PE, Leadership, Wellbeing and Anatomy.

This course is designed for those that have limited or no reading and writing skills and want to gain an understanding of basic English.

Prince’s Trust TEAM Programme - 12 weeks
This course is designed to actively engage 16 – 25 year olds.
You will develop your employability and enterprise skills, take part in a one-week teambuilding residential and undertake two- weeks work experience. You will also build on your maths and English skills, plan for your future, have 1-2-1 mentoring and get careers advice and support.

Develop the skills required to work in the customer service industry. This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to obtain employment in retail, hospitality and general customer focused environments.

English for Speakers of Other Languages - 12 weeks
These courses are Pre-entry to Entry Level 3. They are designed to help you improve your vocational English and language skills if English is not your first language.
There is also a Basic Writing Skills course for students with limited ability to communicate verbally and unable to write an English script.

This qualification is tailored to people with additional support needs, be it learning difficulties or mental health. The pro-gramme supports students to take personal responsibility, plan for their futures and become independent and productive individuals.

Food Safety Level 2 - 5 weeks
This teaches students how to take personal responsibility for food safety, the correct procedures for maintaining a hygienic work environment and how to identify and control common risks. All catering businesses have a legal responsibility to train their staff in matters of food hygiene.
