The name of the network analyzer which is used by the LabVIEW program, is: vna
A program called “Network Devices” – which, just like LabVIEW, is also developed by National Instruments – can setup and test the network connection. It also assigns the name: vna
The setup of the network connection was the most difficult task. It was setup as a portable device according to the description on the network site: https://network.cern.ch/
The biggest problem was that the network analyzer in addition must be setup so that it can change its IP address – it took a long time finding this information and only possible with the help of H.Martinet.
