Labicom success stories
The Remote and Virtual Solid-state Laser laboratory as the main training tool for
the course “Quantum Electronics”.
Stages:
1. Introduction and learning the dangerous laboratory setup via the virtual laser
laboratory (not connected to the real setup).
2. Conducting the experiments in the remote laser laboratory – remote control of
the real laboratory stand via the Internet
Results:
- Students could not tell the difference between the remote and virtual
laboratories
- LMS Labicom prevented forging the experiment results
- Students got access to the dangerous and previously not available lab stand
