WAN AHMAD ILHAM BIN WAN MOHAMED 2014835164 EH2205E DISCUSSION The effect of Derivative in PID`s parameters to the process controllability. The objective of running this simulation process in Simulink was to understand the effect of varying the value of derivative on system process. By using the Simulink system on Mathlab program, construct the process system same with 2 previous lab. The only difference is that the Derivative parameter is changed and the others are stay same. The value of derivative that was varied was 0, 1 and 2. With the variation of the values, we can see that the peak of each graphs decreases and the wavelengths between the graph increases. From the figure we can see that at as the value of “D” decreases the system achieve setpoint faster. However, the time taken for it to achieve its system setpoint is the longest compared to when we vary the values of P and I.
