astronomical ephemeris refers to the most outstanding astronomical events that can be observed throughout the year; but an ephemeris is also a relevant event to be commemorated. these two definitions confirm that this year 2019 will be
remembered in a very special way in the aerospace history of andalusia, among other things because Seville assumes the presidency of the community of ariane cities.not only Seville, andalusia has always been linked to a centuries-old aeronautical tradition, especially in aircraft manufacturing. But the space sector also begins to gain prominence in our community and several initiatives are already underway that confirm that the current trends of this industry go through our land and generate opportunities in companies and research entities with activity in space.Seville has been part of the community of ariane cities since 2012, so to assume its presidency has been lived as a dream come true. more than forty andalusian entities have given shape to a complete and extensive program of activities for this year, in which not only the growth of the space sector in our industry will be valued; we also want to transmit to society the benefits derived from having space activity.one of the objectives is to promote the ‘new Space’, a new trend driven by relatively new aerospace companies that develop technologies and space missions more quickly and independently. an opportunity that will also serve for the international expansion of the andalusian space industry.the sector of space is strategic and already represents 1.62 percent of the Gdp of the andalusian region. an industry that continues to grow, and much in recent years, thanks to the business opportunities it represents for all companies linked to this industry, especially the firms that develop technologies related to earth observation and satellite navigation.

presas y universidad, rogelio velasco, destacaba las for-

the regional minister of economy, Knowledge, Business
and university in andalusia, rogelio velasco, highlighted
the strengths of the andalusian aerospace industry
during his speech at the parliamentary committee held
on march 28. one of the main strengths of our sector,
as the regional minister pointed out, is “the experience
we have in andalusia compared to other regions, since
we have been working historically in the airbus supply
chain and participating in embraer or Bombardier
programmes”.
this experience, supported by the 124 companies that
are part of the andalusian aerospace fabric, has resulted
in a constant growth of employment and turnover in
the last decade. according to the data provided by
the helice foundation, the sector continues to grow
progressively in the last 10 years to an annual average of
12.2 percent. therefore, we are facing a crucial industry
in the social - economic development of andalusia,
representing 1.68 percent of global andalusian Gdp
(155.213 million euros).

turnover still depends on aerostructures
manufacturing
these good data from the sector, however, also
reflect the still high dependence of turnover on the
aerostructures area, specifically 60 percent, and that
in the words of rogelio velasco “requires a high need
of workers and generates little added value compared
to other activities”. therefore, it is necessary to insist in
the idea of diversifying the current activity of the sector
towards others that are gaining much prominence,
such as aeronautical systems, unmanned aerial systems
and space.
the main aircraft manufacturers predict a global demand
for 39,000 new aircraft in the next 20 years, which will
mean a global turnover of about 5.9 billion. a very
positive forecast for the andalusian aeronautical sector
which, in addition to its already proven capabilities and
leadership in aerostructures manufacturing, can and
must compete in other technological areas that are
also part of the aircraft construction.

objectives of the presidency of seville
the presidency of the cva in Sevilla aims to fulfil several
objectives: to publicize the importance of the use of
space technologies in the improvement of our quality of
life, and to support the Sevillian and andalusian industry
in the aerospace sector to increase the workload in this
sector significantly in the next few years, positioning as
a first-rate agent in this new market.
the presidency of Seville also includes the cvas
important objective of promoting the strategic role of
french Guinea and the Space centre of Guyana (cSG)
as a european spaceport. it is precisely from here that
the ariana 5 was launched on february 5, with the Saudi
Geostationary Satellite 1/hellas Sat 4, a condosat for
KacSt (King abdulaziz city for Science and technology–
Saudi arabia) and hellas Sat (Greece – cyprus), in addition
to GSat-31 for the indian Space research organisation
(iSro). ariane 5 opened her 2019 campaign with this
launch, the flight va247, following a year that marked 11
missions across the arianespace fleet. on the occasion
of the presidency of the community of ariane cities, the
rocket has been named “Sevilla”.
new space , new opportunities to reach space
“for the international expansion of the andalusian
space industry, it is necessary to promote new space.”
thus began antonio Gomez-Guillamon, ceo of
the international technological company aertec
Solutions, his paper “reflections from the andalusian
industry towards a regional spatial policy”, under the
framework of the session number 162 of the andalusian
aerospace forum, and first activity in the program of
the presidency of cva in Sevilla. this is a new trend
driven by private industry, especially by relatively new
aerospace companies that develop technologies and
space missions in a more rapid and independent way.

regarding the presence of Spanish companies in
new Space, it highlights pld Space and zero2infinity,
in launchers; alén Space, in cubeSats, and dhv
tech in the field of energy subsystems. the global
market of launchers, satellites, space vehicles and
other associated services has a business volume that
currently amounts to 400 billion dollars a year, and
the forecasts for the coming decades remain upwards,
so that by 2030 the global market for the sector will
amount to one trillion dollars.
the andalusian space industry must not remain alien
to this growing niche market. the andalusian space
sector, according to data from institutions such as the
andalusian Knowledge agency, consists of 120 entities
active in space, with an activity that generates around
40 million euros per year, 5 percent of the national
space sector. around 70 research groups participate
in projects related to space, among which include
the universities of Seville, malaga, Granada and the
astrophysical institute of andalusia. the objective for
the year 2025 is that andalusia represents 25 percent of
the national space industry.
among the industries or companies of the andalusian
space sector it is worth mentioning alter, Solar
mems, dhv or 2Se, as well as other 35 companies with
discontinuous activity in the space sector. therefore,
adds Gomez-Guillamon, “we must keep a collective
spirit of interest in space, increase the participation
of andalusia in networks and forums, and work from
the industrial sector to position our community as a
relevant player in the space sector“. and much of that
work will be done, no doubt, during the presidency of
Seville of the cva this year.
new space, nuevas oportunidades de llegar
new Space, destacan pld Space y zero2infinity, en

INTERVIEW
at the end of november, the new a330mrtt
full flight simulator (ffs) was unveiled at the
international training centre (itc) of airbus in
seville. what kind of operations and missions can
learn the pilots in training?
this simulator allows to simulate what would be the
equivalent in an airline for all the usual normal and
emergency operations that the plane can carry out. in
addition to that, the ffS is able of simulating all military
capabilities of the mrtt, such as performing an air-
to-air refuelling mission, for example, of an a400m, a
c295 or a eurofighter. But it also allows to simulate that
you are receiving fuel from another tanker.
since its launching until now, how many pilots
are receiving training? how long is the a330mrtt
training period?
on november 21 the simulator was officially launched,
but it was at the end of august when it was installed in
Seville. from then until now it has accumulated 1,300
hours. So far we have trained 51 pilots, including pilots
from South Korea, Singapore and france, which are the
last countries that have received the a330mrtt, and
which are already operational. the training of this type
of programme in Seville takes about 60 days, of which
32 include simulator sessions.
the pilots come to us with basic piloting skills, so then
they receive the type rating, which is very similar, in
terms of type of training, to what is received in an
airline. it is a combination of theoretical training with
instructors, plus multimedia teaching and sessions
in the simulator. pilots also receive specific training
in the military capabilities of the mrtt, such as air-
to-air refuelling. the pilots who study at the itc in
Seville, let’s say, can reach two qualifications: a civil
qualification for the a330 and another military one for
the mrtt.
the itc in seville has become a reference centre for
training crews for the a400m, c295, cn235 and now
also the a330mrtt. how many pilots are part of the
airbus military transport programs each year?
last year 450 pilots have been trained in the mrtt,
cn235, c295 and a400m, the latter two being the
programs that register the greatest number of pilots.
and if we have a look to the rest of jobs that exist in
our aircraft operators, such as boom operators or
mechanics, we are talking about 2,500 people who
have received training in our facilities in Seville in 2018.

the advantage that the new mrtt simulator presents is
that before its implementation we used civil simulators
of the a330, so we had to train in real flights. now it is
possible to obtain the type rating by making a single
real flight, with which we are facing a more efficient,
safer and less expensive process.
the a330mrtt new simulator, developed by the
spanish company indra, has a level d, the maximum
level possible for a simulator, meaning that the
system offers a degree of realism that makes one
hour of training onboard equivalent to one real hour
of flight. what other innovations does it present?
one of the great innovations that it presents is that
it has an extended visual system, compared to what
we find in another type of simulator. and this greatly
facilitates training in refuelling operations, both as
a receiver as fuel supplier, thanks to virtual reality,
and allows practical training for pilots in almost real
operations. and another of the ongoing developments
is the coordinated training between pilots and crew that
operate the refuelling system. this system has its own
console at mrtt cockpits, for which our engineers
have also developed a simulator that is already installed
in the training centre of Seville. What we do is to
interconnect the simulator of the console with the ffS
of the mrtt in order to simultaneously train both pilots
and boom operators for refuelling.
and another of the important advantages presented by
the simulator is that we can offer training to the crews
of the airlines that operate with the a330, and that we
are already starting to carry out.

INTERVIEW
can you tell us about the training for the pilots of the
airbus military transport programmes?
our students acquire a comprehensive knowledge
to be able to fly in an efficient and safe way. as i
mentioned above, in the mrtt programme we talk
about 60 days of training; for the a400m there are 52
and in the c295, 35. after this period you get the basic
competence to fly, usually as co-pilots. then they
have to keep flying for a period of time in a real plane
with a pilot commander. in addition, in the military
world, pilots need to “refresh” their training within
the deadlines established by each national military
authority. at least, pilots should pass once a year by the
simulator to update their skills in normal operations
and, above all, the emergency ones. pilots acquire
all military tactical capabilities such as parachute and
cargo launches, operations on unprepared runways,
refuelling, etc.
the training centre also trains cabin crew,
cargo supervisors, mission system operators and
maintenance technicians specialized in airbus
military aircraft. in addition to the theoretical
training, what type of technology is applied in the
training process of these professionals?
We always look for the most effective and efficient way
to train our students. We analyse every new technology
available in the market to know the added value that
can contribute to training. We work to make the training
as attractive as possible, including multimedia systems
that allow more interactive knowledge acquisition.
and increasingly, we apply virtual reality technology
so that students can experiment on their own and see
how the airplane works in a much more real way. We
also use virtual reality glasses to train in night vision
environments, for surveillance and border control
operations.
how many instructors are part of the itc in seville?
in the training centre of Seville we have a staff of 250
people, of which 80 are instructors.
grama del mrtt hablamos de 60 días de formación;
pistas no preparadas, reabastecimiento, etc.

a century ago, the emerge of propeller aircraft gave a
big boost to aeronautical technology. the Wilbur and
orville Wright brothers achieved on december 17,
1903 that a device heavier than air, and only moved
by the force of its engine, took off from the ground,
remained suspended for 12 seconds and landed after
traveling 37 meters. a milestone that, 115 years later,
has been surpassed by a group of engineers from the
massachusetts institute of technology (mit).
these researchers have created an aircraft with a
wingspan of 5 meters (16 feet) that weighed 2.45
kilograms, without propellers or turbines. a prototype
that has managed to fly thanks to ionic propulsion,
without the need for fuel. the aircraft has managed to
cross 60 meters in an interior space with an average
flight altitude of 0.47 meters, and a speed of 4.8 meters
per second. the results of this research show that it is
possible the steady flight of an unmanned aircraft with
ionic wind.
a star trek-inspired plane
the plane designed by mit engineers carries an array
of thin wires, which are strung like horizontal fencing
along and beneath the front end of the plane’s wing. the
wires act as positively charged electrodes, while similarly
arranged thicker wires, running along the back end of
the plane’s wing, serve as negative electrodes. the
fuselage contains a stack of lithium-polymer batteries
that supplies electricity at 40,000 volts to positively
charge the wires through a lightweight power converter.
once the wires are energised, they act to attract
and strip away negatively charged electrons from
the surrounding air molecules, like a giant magnet
attracting iron filings. the air molecules that are left
behind are newly ionised and are in turn attracted to
the negatively charged electrodes at the back of the
plane. as the newly formed cloud of ions flows towards

hace unos nueve años, Barrett comenzó a buscar for-
the negatively charged wires, each ion collides millions
of times with other air molecules, creating a thrust that
propels the aircraft forward.
mit aerospace engineer Steven Barrett has revealed
that the inspiration for designing this prototype
comes in part from fictional shuttlecraft from ‘Star
trek’, which he saw when he was a child. he was
especially attracted to the futuristic shuttlecrafts that
effortlessly skimmed through the air, with seemingly
no moving parts and hardly any noise or exhaust.
“this made me think, in the long-term future, planes
shouldn’t have propellers and turbines,” Barrett says.
“they should be more like the shuttles in ‘Star trek,’
that have just a blue glow and silently glide.”
will the aviation sector really change after this
discovery?
about nine years ago, Barrett started looking for ways to
design a propulsion system for planes with no moving
parts. he eventually came upon “ionic wind,” also
known as electroaerodynamic thrust, which describes
a wind or push that can be produced when a current is
passed between a thin and a thick electrode. if enough
voltage is applied, the air in between the electrodes can
produce enough thrust to propel a small aircraft. the

advantage of this propulsion system is that it does not
depend on fossil fuels to fly, unlike turbine aircraft, and it
is completely silent, in contrast to the propellers.
the researchers point out that at the moment only the
use of ionic propulsion in small and light drones can
be considered. they are not sure about it can compete
with traditional flight systems, but they do believe that
ion propulsion can be used in conjunction with more
conventional combustion systems in the future to
create much more efficient hybrid passenger aircraft.
they are currently working on how to increase the
efficiency of their design, to produce more “ionic wind”
with less voltage, and they would like to develop an
aircraft without a visible propulsion system.
mit aerospace engineer Steven Barrett has revealed that the inspiration for designing this prototype comes in part from fictional shuttlecraft from ‘Star trek’
“this was the simplest possible plane we could design
that could prove the concept that an ion plane could
fly”, explains Barrett. “it’s still some way away from an
aircraft that could perform a useful mission. it needs to
be more efficient, fly for longer, and fly outside.”

the sightings of drones last december in the

caused the suspension of the landing and take off
of several flights to avoid any threat to the safety of
operations. the closure of the airspace as a preventive
measure highlights the need to solve the coexistence
of unmanned aerial vehicles with conventional aviation,
both in the national and international airspace.
With regard to Spain, the royal decree 1036/2017
regulates the civil use of remotely piloted aircraft
Systems (rpaS) but does not regulate the use of
unmanned aircraft Systems (uaS) without the
intervention of the pilot, whose use in Spanish airspace
is not allowed. currently, civil drone operations are
carried out in areas separated from those used by
conventional aviation, although some coordination
is necessary for them to develop safely. however, the
growth of the sector calls for a regulation that allows
the flights of drones in areas of the airspace trafficked
by traditional aviation, and regulate a coexistence
with the approval of the airlines, the providers of air
navigation services and the airport managers.

regulations in the field of drone operations, through
common rules for all eu members. a new community
standard is currently being developed that introduces
the concept of risk-based regulation. this new
approach is based on the definition of three categories
of drone operations, which are associated with a series
of requirements (more restrictive when the operation
involves a greater risk): the open category (or low
risk), the specific category (medium risk) and certified
category (for higher risk operations).
the current regulations will be replaced by a law at
european level that will most probably be implemented
in the coming months. taking into account that it
should be implemented and applied in all eu member
states progressively, it will not be until the end of 2020
when it is fully established in all countries.
Spain works jointly with the rest of the european union countries to define a new framework that, in the medium term, will allow the harmonization of national regulations in the field of drone operations
u-space
the continuous demands of the eu states to have a
single control system for the european airspace have
materialized in the creation of a plan for managing
drone movements at altitudes up to 150 meters: the

this system, whose definition is currently in an incipient
state, will provide the necessary services and procedures
for access to the airspace in terms of operational safety,

do posibles limitaciones físicas de intrusión.
drones.
• el seguimiento continuo de los vuelos, identifican-
do las operaciones no autorizadas.
ves tripuladas y no tripuladas.
respect for the privacy rights of citizens and physical
security of people and infrastructures. among the most
important functions of the system u-Space are:
• the safe operation of drones, providing an airspace
management system and defining possible
physical limitations of intrusion.
• the management of airspace congestion in low
level.
• the separation of obstacles and the adverse
weather forecast for the safe operation of the

it is currently estimated that europe has a fleet of
between 1 million and 1.5 million drones for civil use.
a positive sign of the commercial development of

no existiendo productores a nivel nacional. Gracias a

the technology developed in andalusia continues
to attract the attention of europe. the european

(development of new optical absorption filters for
application in night vision imaging Systems), whereby
the technology Sme Grabysur, one of the leading
european manufacturers of illuminated panels and
night vision equipment for aircraft and helicopters
cockpits, will receive funding for the feasibility study
of new optical filters applicable to nviS systems and
that exceed the technical characteristics of the current
solutions.
the fanviS project is the result of a previous r&d
project funded by the centre for the development
of industrial technology (cdti), in which Grabysur
is developing an absorbent filter type Green-a
compatible with night vision systems. all illuminated
panels inside the cockpit in land / sea / air vehicles
must integrate filters compatible with nviS to allow
the use of night vision Goggles. these optical filters,
developed in collaboration with the university of cadiz,
would be applicable not only for aircraft, vehicles, ships
or simulators, but also for other civil systems (radios,
drones, laptops, tablets, etc.).
fanviS emerges because of the scarce variety of optical
filters suppliers that are used for the manufacture
of illuminated panels and night vision systems, and
which are mainly north american and Japanese, of
which there is also a commercial and technological
dependence for the exclusive manufacture of these
products.
in this sense, the reception of optical filters is
conditioned by the supply of these few suppliers and
the conditions imposed unilaterally, with no suppliers
at the national level. thanks to this european funding,

FERIAS Y CONGRESOS

defense meetings-adm Sevilla 2018 calienta motores, y
ticamente imposible no encontrar alguna firma andaluza
defensa internacional ideX 2019 (international defence

that is why we must take advantage of the opportunities
that arise from participation in the most important
international fairs in the aerospace calendar. there is
no better showcase to unveil the latest developments,
or better business centre to establish new contacts and

our companies also know this, and that is why it is
almost impossible not to find any andalusian firm in
the different events of the aerospace industry that are
celebrated all over the world. for example, in february
the ideX 2019 international defense conference, the
main event for the sector in the middle east and north
africa region, took place in abu dhabi. more than a
thousand companies in the field of land, sea and air
defence from different countries have shown their latest
technological advances. among them, the andalusian
Grabysur and aertec Solutions. the first one has
presented its wide portfolio of products and services
for the hmi market, and the international technology
company aertec, specialized in the aeronautical
industry and aerospace and defence systems, has
shown its light and fixed-wing aerial platforms ‘tarsis’.
it is high-tech tactical rpaS, designed by the Spanish
company for observation and surveillance applications.
the multinational based in malaga has taken advantage
of its participation in ideX to announce the opening of
a new commercial delegation, precisely in abu dhabi,
to have a greater proximity to the different customers
of the middle east area.

of its main novelties, that citizens will learn what the
defence industry contributes to their welfare and safety.
the international defence and Security exhibition is
structured as a multisectoral meeting, from which
to spread Spanish industry’s technological and r&d
capabilities in the field of defence and security, and
focused on target countries for the european union,
latin american, middle east and north africa. under
the rubric of “technologies for a safer society”, feindef
will show the latest products and technologies that
guarantee the operation and protection of the armed

towards a common defence policy
feindef will show the high competitive value of
our technologies and capabilities, while providing a
comprehensive view of the progress that is taking
place in europe towards the development of the
common defence policy. the eu is the second region
in the world in military expenditure, surpassed only
by the united States, but there is a high degree of
fragmentation. for example, while in the uSa there is
only one single model of battle tank, in europe there
are at least five different models, and it happens the

lutions y Sintersa.
same with the fighter plane. about 80 percent of public
purchases in defence are made by the member States
independently, which increases the rate of duplication
of systems in the eu.
in this regard, the european union has proposed
different programs to alleviate the effects of duplicity
and fragmentation, as well as the development of
proprietary technologies. the main project is the
european defence action plan (edap), to coordinate
investment in this matter of all member states. edap’s
main instrument is the european defence fund (edf),
through which funds are addressed to research, whose
funding comes directly from the european union, and
to development and acquisition, in which the eu will
create incentives for the cooperation between the
member States in different programmes. it is expected
that this fund will mobilize around €38.5 billion in the
2021-2027 period.
the defence industry is one of the Spanish sectors
with greater strength and economic projection, with
a productivity of 3.8 times the national average and
a marked strategic nature. that’s why it represented
almost 3 percent of the Gdp industry in 2017 and
gave direct employment to about 23,000 people.
We are facing a sector that invests 11 percent of its
turnover in r&d, with which it has a high technological
development in several of its areas and which are,
at the same time, the most successful, such as the
aeronautical sector ( 68 percent of sales within the total
of defence) or electronics (9.20 percent).
more than 80 percent of the total turnover corresponds
to exports, that is, around €4.3 billion per year. the main
client of Spanish defence companies is europe, with
almost 85 percent, thanks mainly to eu cooperation
projects. europe is next in importance in the middle
east and north africa (8.2 percent), latin america (3.6
percent) and asia pacific (1.8 percent).
over 140 confirmed exhibitors
feindef will occupy a space of around 14,000
square meters, which had to be expanded given the
high demand from companies that wanted to attend

mentaria.
companies that will present their capabilities at the
international defence and Security exhibition are
mades, aertec Solutions and Sintersa.
in addition to the exhibition area, feindef is preparing
an ambitious program to bring defence and security
industries closer to society through forums that
will address issues such as the ability to generate
employment, the application of defence technologies
to civil use, entrepreneurship and innovation or the
integration of women in the sector. the debates
have been designed to actively involve university and
research centres, as well as social organizations and
the auxiliary industry. together with the forums, the
fair includes round tables on more transversal aspects,
such as funding, dual-use technologies, or even more
specific issues such as the new european scenario that
derives from the european defence action plan. the
forums and the round tables will be integrated by high
level national and international speakers.
the area destined to B2B meetings will also be of
special relevance to expand the network of professional
contacts between the big tractor companies and the rest,
basically Smes, that are part of the supply chain. another
aspect to highlight of feindef will be the presence of
official delegations of a high number of trade missions
from countries of special interest from all over the world.
the organizers are very optimistic with the expectations
that feindef is generating: “we expect an outstanding
international presence at the exhibition, which will
position Spanish companies for european consortia,
framed within the european action plan of defence.
feindef will be a determining impulse for a strategic
sector that provides the technological capabilities and
solutions that guarantee the operation of the armed
and State Security forces, as well as the personal
protection in the missions in which they participate,
and that contribute so much to the economy, security
and technological sovereignty of Spain”.

the first-level supplier of aerostructures aciturri, could
buy 61.9 percent of the shares that airbus has of the
andalusian company alestis aerospace. although the
operation is not confirmed everything indicates that in
april the purchase-sale agreement could be formalized,
which would mean the growth of aciturri as a major
Spanish provider for the aeronautical sector, reaching,
presumably, the 600 million in turnover. this operation
would have the full approval of airbus, which has long
been interested in concentrating its main Spanish
suppliers. the sale of alestis began to be talked about
in 2017, four years after airbus entered its social capital
to ensure the viability of the company, in bankruptcy
proceedings since may 2012.
Both aciturri and alestis are involved in the main
programmes of airbus’ commercial and military aircraft
and also work for other manufacturers such as Boeing
and embraer. the firm from Burgos has nine production
plants in Spain, located in miranda de ebro (Burgos),
valladolid, madrid, alava, Seville and Gijon. for its part,
alestis has plants in Seville, cadiz, Getafe, vitoria, São
José dos campos (Brazil) and a commercial office in
the uSa.
alestis is also owned 24.05 percent by the State
company of industrial participations (Sepi) and
14.04 percent by unicaja bank, but it has not yet
been revealed what will happen to the rest of the
shareholders. What is certain is that when this
acquisition be completed, aciturri will be a much
more competitive aviation company, with a larger size
and a larger workforce (it would add the current 1,400
alestis employees).

investigations are still underway. Boeing is finishing
a software update and pilot training revision that
will address the mcaS flight control law’s behaviour
in response to erroneous sensor inputs. While the
ethiopian authorities and american experts continue
to investigate, the european union, ethiopia, china,
Singapore, malaysia, india, indonesia suspended all
flights of the B737 maX 8 aircraft. around 300 aircraft

airtificial has signed two new contracts with airbus for
the manufacture of the air refuelling pole fairing for the
a330mrtt aircraft and cabin structural parts for the c295
model. airtificial will manufacture the refuelling pole that
supplies fuel to other aircraft in mid-flight, a complex
composite structure that weighs very little but is very
strong and flexible. the industrial capacity and applied
engineering, with a high degree of specialisation, reinforces
airtificial’s positioning as a strategic supplier of structural
elements in composite materials for airbus. this contract
also stands out for being the second that airtificial has
signed with airbus for in-flight refuelling operations. the
Spanish technology already manufactures, exclusively, the
stick with which the pole is handled to direct it towards
the fuel tank of the aircraft that is refuelling at thousands
of metres altitude. the second new contract signed
with airbus consists of the manufacture, production
and assembly of various parts belonging to the c295
programme, whose manufacturing and assembly process
will be carried out at the airtificial airport factory, located
