    Number of retries :number of time C264 will try to poll IED

    Synchronization cycle :periodic synchro. frames

    2) LBUS attributes (example given with T103, cf. C264 AP chapter)

    Acknowledgement time-out :IED response time-out

    Downgraded cycle :when IED not responding, periodic retry

    • Add / Configure IED Mapping (1)1) Add DP (DataPoints) addresses

    IED Mapping :set of SPS, DPS, MPS, MV, SPC, DPC, …

    managed by IED (cf. IED documentation)

    To add a DP address :

    1) select kind of DP Mapping 2) Through Objects Entry Window, add an address

    • Miscellaneous (1)1) IED System information

    IED SPS Com :

    Gives connection status between C264 and IED(animated at PACiS OI Level)

    IED SPS Synchro :Gives IED synchronization status

    + IED RDRE Ready :SPS indicates when IED disturbance file is ready at C264 level

    Note : “ext IEC Mapping” added by “SBUS automatic addressing”,

    but not in template

    • Why using a template?1) Direct implementation :=> configure IED general info=> add mapping (DP addresses)=> add DP and link

    Repeat for each IED and then test resulting configuration

    => JOB INTENSIVE

    2) Template instantiations :=> DP and links already done=> only configure IED name and @=> repeatable

    => all DP already tested OK => IED integration

    => SAVE TIME
