    Kuching City Centre (local called it "Pasak" which means "Town" in Bahasa Sarawak)

    - Waferfront: A park beside the Sarawak River

    - Fort Magherita: Kuching famous fort located at the opposite of waterfront.

    - Square Tower: Located in the Waferfront. A tower that faced the Astana (The palace White Rajah used to lived)

    -Astana:

    - Civic Centre: A tower for viewing Kuching.

    - Pandungan: Kuching Chinatown (this is where the Big cat located). Can find cookies/biscuits here

    - Carpenter street: Another Chinatown.

    - Indian street: The street without indians. LOL. Selling mostly cloths

    - Gambier Street: Street of spices

    - Main Bazzar: The oldest shoplots in Kuching. Selling lots of handicrafts

    - StarCineplex: A cineplex, can view the Waterfront from the top floor of this building.

    - Muzium Cina: Used to be a chinese court in the old days. Now a muzium to tell the history of Kuching Chinese

    - Muzium Testile: Located just right opposite of the Main Post office and behind the Brooke Courthouse. Display local textile art

    - Brooke Courthouse: An old courthouse. Now a Tourism Centre with Lebanon Restaurant

    - Post Office: The british style building was once an office but currently Kuching main post office.

    - Muzium Tun Something: Located right opposite of Muzium Sarawak. Info about Sarawak and each district- Muzium Art etc Some other muzium next to Sarawak Muzium.. I have no idea..what inside

    Sub-urban territory ( Kuching is not a concentrated city. Population&crowd are widely distributed.)

    - Friendship park Located in Jalan Song. A park to memorize the friendship between Malaysia and China. Artifacts are imported.

    - Cat Museum Located at the hilltop of Northen Kuching. The city council as well as a museum of cats from around the world including a cat mummy

    Rehabilitation Centre for Orangutans. See uncaged orangutans roams the forest and swing from trees to trees, break your bones and make curry

    -Sarawak Cultural Village A living museum where imitation houses of major races in Sarawak.

    - Damai Central Beach getaway beside the famous Santubong mountain. Located between the Damai Lagoon Puri Spa Resort and Damai Beach resort.

    - Santubong mountain With hiking trails

    - Bako National Park One of the oldest national park.

    - Muara Tebas Temple Located in Muara Tebas Village. One of the oldest temple in Kuching.

    The Pasak area will be quiet at night beside running pubs. P/S: Careful of pickpockets at night.

    Locals nowadays hangout at the sub urban areas where you can find cafes, shops, malls operate till late night or till morning.
