It allows students to learn from live situations which arereal and at the same time more complex than what can be createdin classroom in various ways including case discussion. MBA(RM) Curriculum:
KSRM was established in 2006 and its flagship programme MBA(RM) wasstarted in 2007. Having consolidated its MBA(RM) programme , KSRM tooka conscious decision to start specialised programmes to cater to emergingneeds of the development sector. As a result Post Graduate Diploma inCommunity Development (PGDCD) was launched in 2016 and plans areunderway to launch another programme on Sustainable Livelihoods in2017.

The school has rich portfolio of many other academic activities which in-clude research, consulting and customised Management Development Pro-grammes(MDPs). The aim of many of its activities is Knowledge Buildingas school emphasis is on research based learning and teaching. The facultyand students are active part of this process.
MBA(RM) programme is designed to balance academics with experiential learning and has two specific segments - Class Room Segment(CRS), spread over 55 weeks and Field Segments (FS) of 33 weeks spread over four Semesters. The three FS components are designed ina progressive manner with Action Research Segment in Semester - I, Case Study Research Segment in Semester - II in year one and Man-agement Traineeship Segment (MTS) in Semester - III in year two.
Each student has to complete 92 credits, including 56 credits of Course Work and 36 credits of Field Work.

KSRM while diversifying its portfolio has now launched a one year programme” PG Diploma on Community Development whichcommenced on 1st August, 2016.

The one year programme on Post-Graduate Diploma in Sus-tainable Livelihoods (PGDSL) aims to nurture livelihood pro-fessionals who have the required competencies in sustain-able l ivel ihoods prac tices and implementing l ivelihoodprogrammes in different contexts and resource environmentsleading to desired outcomes in terms of poverty reductionand women development. The programme is l ikely to belaunched in the beginning of next academic year 2017. Withestablishment of clear linkages between Sustainable Liveli-hoods and poverty reduction , the course will offer promisingcareers to young people in organisations ranging from corpo-rate, government and variety of developmental organisations.

The CampusKSRM campus is an architectural masterpiece that combines design and space with tradi-tional interiors giving it a pleasing look. The architectural design, integrates well with thetheme of the School. The 45,000 sq. ft. building has six technologically equipped classroom,four syndicate study rooms, spacious faculty offices and common spaces.
