One senior citizen from Gujarat was worried for his 2 sons, as the elder was not allowing the

younger one to flourish in the joint business and was coming his way. The father was too wor-

ried and he telephoned me to look if there could be a solution to this stalemate between his

sons, as this was affecting his peace of mind.

He had sent his birth chart only to me to examine the compatibility issues between his 1st son

(2nd issue) and the 2nd son (3rd issue).

The birth chart of the father is presented as follows. The chart was rotated to 7th house to rep-

resent the 2nd child (1st son). From this chart, the 3rd house would represent his 2nd son.

The Query

The chart was taken up for study on April 29, 2009 when Moon was transiting the Rahu’s star (Aridra). Considering

that Rahu disposes Saturn and Moon, the planets disposed by Moon were considered as Rahu, Saturn and Moon.

It was noticed that Rahu was the cuspal sub-lord of lagna (1st son’s), Moon was the cuspal sub-lord of 3rd cusp(2nd son) and Saturn was the cuspal sub-lord of the 11th cusp (harmony).

With the above, I took the query to be genuine and proceeded for further analysis.

Analysis of the chart

1. Look from the 1st son’s side

In the rotated chart, lagna (Aries 29-15-47) represent the 1st son and the 2nd son is represented by the 3rd cusp

(Gemini 29-48-29).

Various aspects between them are analysed as below.

a. Rahu is the lagna sub-lord of 1st son, which decides the primary drive of the native. Rahu placed in 2nd housefalls in the star of Jupiter placed in 9th house as 11th lord, thus Rahu signifies 9-2-11th houses and is very good

for the native to advance well in the business and earn heftily.

b. The 3rd cuspal sub-lord Moon (indicating his younger brother) is strong as it does not have any planet in its

star, thus its placement will matter the most. Note that Moon is placed in 12th house, indicating that his younger

brother’s presence in the business would mean loss to him. This is exactly the perception (Moon), which is reg-

istered in his mind.

c. Examine 3rd cuspal sub lord Moon at the stellar level, where Moon falls in the star of Venus placed in 2nd

house with its sub lord Saturn placed in 6th house as 10th lord. This makes the 1st son to get benefited by the

professional involvement of his younger brother. Thus, he may have wanted his younger brother to be hanging withhim for his own professional ongoing (2-6-10th house) whereas not considering his worth by way of the pre-con-

ceived notion (Moon in 12th house as cuspal sub-lord of 3rd cusp).

d. Looking to the 10th cusp, the cuspal sub lord is Ketu, which falls in the star of Venus (signifying 2-6-7th house)

and sub of Saturn (signifying 6-9-10-11th houses), thus promising him luck of professional success. The placement

of Ketu in 8th house could have given him the hold on father’s business as inheritance.

e. Thus, it is observed that the 1st son had a good luck for advancing in the business.

In the Saturn dasha, which had been running since 19 years, he must have progressed well in advancing the business

and earning heavily, as Saturn lords the 10th house, gets placed in the star of 11th lord Jupiter with the support

of sub lord Venus placed in 2nd house as 6th lord. Thus, Saturn dasha must have been a boon to him.2. Look from the 2nd son’s side

3rd cusp (Gemini 29-48-29) is being considered as the Lagna of the 2nd son and the delineation in this section

is worded accordingly (Lagna means 3rd cusp) and all other cusps are seen with reference to this lagna cusp.

a. Lagna sub lord is Moon is a strong planet, as there is no planet in its star. Moon’s placement in 10th house could

mean to be gainful in the business by way of the placement of Moon.

At the stellar level, Moon falls in the star of Venus falling in 12th house, making him feel lost. Moon falls in the sub

of Saturn that as 8th lord gets placed in 4th house, thus giving a complete stuck over, despair and lost peace of

mind.

Note that the Saturn (sub-lord of 3rd cuspal sub-lord Moon) deteriorates the promises of the Moon even by way

of its better positional status in 10th house.

b. Examine how the efforts of the native confer fruits to him. For this the 3rd cuspal lord Saturn is to be exam-

ined.

Saturn as 3rd cuspal sub lord is the 8th lord placed in 4th house, thus the efforts do not bring fruits.

At the stellar level, Saturn falls in the star of Jupiter, which as 9th lord gets placed in 7th house and does some

promise of luck. Saturn’s sub-lord Venus falls in the 12th house as 5th lord, which does not allow the poorva-pun-

yas (5th house) to be dispensed for advantage, thus causing blockage to his advancements in professional life.

In a business environment, the 7th house is important as all the dealings in partnership do take place through 7th

house, which is also weak as the 7th cuspal sub lord Rahu gets placed in 12th house.

c. Examine how would he fare in business.

Consider 10th cuspal sub-lord Moon that as a strong planet is placed in 10th house, giving some solace. At the

stellar level, Moon in star of Venus placed in 12th house promise losses and the sub lord - Saturn placed in 4th

house dictates the life stuck by hard luck.

d. In the Saturn dasha running since 19 years, he had undergone a serious turmoil, as Saturn cause hardships and

does not support him to advance in his professional pursuits.

3. Look to the present dasha

Mercury dasha started since January 2009 and let us examine what is in store for both the brothers.

• Mercury is in its own star and is placed in 3rd house, which is the house of efforts of 1st son and is the lagna

of the 2nd son. Since, this dasha represented the 2nd son, perhaps, his father got too concerned for him as the

dasha commenced.

• Mercury falls in the sub of Jupiter, which is as usual strong for the professional progress of the 1st son, as Jupiter

as 9th and 11th lord gets placed in 9th house.

For the 2nd son, the sub lord Jupiter gets placed in 7th house as 7th and 9th lord giving marginally better prospects

only.Conclusion

It was communicated to the gentleman on phone about the findings as above and also that even in the current

Mercury dasha, the professional prospects of his 2nd son do not look bright, though the 1st son may sail through

well.

Prof. Krishnamurthy has devised a pioneering predictive model in predictive astrology, which deserves sin-

cere appreciation.

Editor's Note: Harmony between brothers is not indicated as the significator of 1 is also significator of

6 and 8 and the significator of 3 is not a significator of 11 and 1. (KP Reader VI page 229/ Old Edition

A General Rule for Twin Birth : if 5th CSL (11th CSL in male chart) is connected with Mer or Dual sign, andsignifies house 2,5,11.

After studying 20 AA charts of twin birth from AstroDatabank as shown below, My observation: if 5th CSL (11th CSL in male chart)  signifies house 7 and also 2 or 5 or 11 andconnected with Mer or Dual rasi, it can be a Twin Birth during DBAS signifying house 7 along with2,5,11.

A) In female charts, 11 out of 11 cases under study, 5th CSL signifies 7 or Dual Rasi or Mer. ( 100%)B) In male charts, 8 out of 9 cases under study, 11th CSL signifies 7 or Dual Rasi or Mer . ( 89%)C) In 18 cases, DBAS signfies 7 along with 2,5,11. (90%)D) Out of 11 female charts, 9 charts indicate 12th (Hospitalization) during DBAS(82%).

I had made an attempt to get the answer for this query with the inspiration of Shri Kanak

Bosmia, who had shared his practical experience with Rajiv Khattar ji in KPE-zine Sept 2007

called “How many sticks in the match box ?”. That was an interesting KP numerical test.

The query came on my mind on the world-cup opening ceremony day.

Group A : India, Bangladesh, Ireland

Group B : Pakistan, England, Netherland

Group C : Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies

Group D : New Zealand, South Africa, Scotland

I wrote them in serial.

(1)India, (2)Bangladesh, (3)Ireland, (4)Pakistan, (5)England, (6)Netherland, (7)Australia, (8)Sri Lanka, (9)West Indies,

(10)New Zealand, (11)South Africa, (12)Scotland

Date : 5/6/2009

Time :08:40:15 AM

Place : Surat, Gujarat

RPs :-

Asc Lord: Me

Star of Asc Lord: Ju

Star of Moon: Ju

Sign lord of Moon : Ve

Day lord: Ve

To find out fruitful planets, I have to check all nine planets.

Body:-

Lagna : Me sign-Ju star-Ve sub

Sun : Ve sign-Mo star-Ve sub

Moon : Ve sign-Ju star-Ju sub

Mars : Ma sign-Ke star-Ju sub

Mrcry : Ma sign-Su star-Ra sub

 Jptr : Sa sign-Ma star-Ve sub

Venus : Ma sign-Ke star-Ma sub

Sturn : Su sign-Ve star-Ju subRahu : Sa sign-Su star-Ve sub

Ketu : Mo sign-Sa star-Ve sub

When the sign, star and sub lords of above planets were checked with the RPs, I found only one plant’s body which

is in RPs by its sign, star and sub and it is MOON.

In the table of KP Horary subs 1-249 (KP Reader VI pp 89-97), Moon comes as sub serial number 4 and 12. In

the above serial list of countries, no 4 is Pakistan and no 12 is Scotland. There is nothing to say about Scotland.

So the result will be for No.: 4 - Pakistan. We all know the result.

Honourable Kanak has humbly requested the readers to experience this method whether it is working or notbecause they failed in their second attempt. So I made an attempt by following this method and I got an amazing

success.

Much gratitude to Shree Kanak .

On 27th July 2009 Sun dasa starts in the chart of India, I think this would be useful and

interesting to check the effects of this new dasa.

Sun Dasa runs from 27 July 2009 to 27 July 2015.Sun is in the star of Mer and sub of Sat.

Sun is in 4,lord of 5, Mer is in 3, lord of 2-3-6, Sat is in 4, lord of 10-11.

This Sun dasa signifies 2,6,10,11 which indicate during this Sun dasa economic growth of India will be in the up-

ward trend. We have also found 4,5,3 along with 2,6,10,11. But 8,12 are not signified at all and so it indicates only

the upward progress in economical condition of India.

Now we will check Bhuktis of Sun dasa.

First Sun Bhukti is up to 15 Nov 2009We have discussed about Sun above.

Second Moon Bhukti up to 15th may 2010

Moon is in the star and sub of Sat.

Moon is in 3, lord of 4. Sat is in 4, lord of 10-11.

During this period we can see some changes in the telecom sector, due to the signification of 3.10.11. We will

see a big upward movement in telecom industries. We will also see major changes in the Indian Rail. We will def-

initely see overall changes in these two sectors.

Third Mar Bhukti up to 12th Sep 2010

Mar is in the star and sub of Rahu.

Mar is in 2, lord of 7, in the star of Rah is in 1, Rahu is in the sign of Ven. Ven is in 4, lord of 1, no planet in the star

of Ven and Ven is the cuspal sub lord of 1,2,3,10

During this period the opposition party will face some trouble. In Mundane opposition is 4th house and if we

check from 4th house of Indian chart, Mar indicates 10,11,4,1,7,12. Here 11th is Badhaka, 12 Moksha and 7th is

Maraka. Indications are not good for opposition party.

This period will not be good enough for economy of the country.

Fourth Rahu Bhukti up to 15th Aug 2011

Rahu is in the star of Sun and Sub of Mer.

Rh is in 1, Rahu is in the sign of Ven Ven is in 4, lord of 1, no planet in the star of Ven and Ven is the cuspal sub

lord of 1,2,3,10, in the star of Sun in 4,lord of 5, in the sub of Mer in 3, lord of 2-3-6. Rahu Bhukti signifies 2,6,10

and 1,3,4,5.

1st house signifies the country’s identity and 6,10 combination with 3rd indicates some major achievements inthe space program, and this space program will give a very good reputation in the world.

Currency value is shown from the 5th cusp, with 2,6,10 combination and we will see a strong upward movement

in value of Rs against US $ or any other currency.

Om Sri Mahaganapathaye Namaha.Om Sri Guruve Namaha

Introduction

One of my friend’s son is studying in a lycée, appeared for the French diploma Baccalauréat. Him-

self and his friends expecting “Mension Bien” and were curious to know the result early. So, Ihave applied the K.P. Horary techniques to study and told them the result in advance. I wouldlike to present the process I have used together with the results in this paper. In addition to as-trology, I am presenting the additional information for the readers who are not familiar with the French educationsystem.

French education system

The French diploma Baccalauréat created in 1808 is the final examination at the end of the high school education

and also an entry into higher studies in the university. The school where the students study is called lycée and

first started in 1802 by Napoléon Bonaparte. The French education is free and open to all.

In 2009, 622322 candidates from 4537 lycées appeared for the examination and about 78.6% got their diploma.

Each candidate has to write the examination in 9 subjects and the scores are averaged to 20 (like 100 in India). One has to obtain 10 over 20 (50%) to have the diploma. Different ranks are given based on the score obtained:

• Mention « Assez bien » (Fairly well) : Average superior or equal 12 and inferior 14;• Mention « Bien » (Good) : Average superior or equal 14 and inferior 16;

• Mention « Très bien » (Very good): Average superior or equal 16.

One of my friend’s son is studying in a lycée in the city of Versailles very close to the Château (Palace) de Versailles(The Palace is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th-century French art. The site began as Louis XIII’s

hunting lodge before his son Louis XIV transformed and expanded it, moving the court and government of Franceto Versailles in 1682. The palace attracts more than 10 million visitors per year). My friend’s son and his friendsknow me as studying astrology and they are eager to know their result through astrological techniques.

Almost 100% of the students from this lycée pass the examination and so they are more interested if they obtain

the result with Mention Bien (more than or equal to 14). All the five students asked me the question, are expectingMention Bien.

Data for the analysis

Query: Will I obtain “Mension Bien” in my Baccalauréat examination?

Horary Number (between 1 and 249) and Date and Time of analysis:Student 1: 62 (of 249); 4th July 2009 at 09:48:33 ( + 2 hrs UT)Student 2: 7 (of 249); 4th July 2009 at 09:54:36 ( + 2 hrs UT)Student 3: 131 (of 249); 4th July 2009 at 09:58:16 ( + 2 hrs UT)Student 4: 15 (of 249); 4th July 2009 at 10:03:12 ( + 2 hrs UT)Student 5: 198 (of 249); 4th July 2009 at 10:12:16 ( + 2 hrs UT)

Place: Antony, France (48°44’51” N and 2°17’50” E; +2 hours UT)

Rules

• Horary Number: I have used the number between 1 and 249.

• Place of Judgement: I have done the analysis and the judgement from Antony, France and so I have taken this asplace. My PC has a GPS connected and the latitude and longitude are taken dynamically from the GPS.

• Date and time: Each chart is analysed at different timings, each chart has its date and time depending on when

it was generated and analysed. Each chart was generated just before the analysis.

• Casting the chart: I have used KP Ayanamsa, Placidus house system, Mean Node and Geographic latitude of placeof judgment for casting the chart.

• Rotation of the chart: The horary number is given directly by the student, so the chart is not required to ro-

tate.• Is Question Genuine: First verify if the question is genuine. Moon represents mind and hence Moon must signify

the cusps related to the question for the question to be genuine. The question is genuine if there is any relation(better if same) between Lagna star lord or sub lord and Moon star lord or sub lord.

• Honour by getting Rank: If 1(Competitive Posture) CSL signifies, 10th (Honour/Success), 3rd (Examination test),

6th (Ordering Rank), one can success with good rank in exam. (This rule given by Sri Kanak Bosmia).

• Honour in High school education: If 4(high school education) CSL signifies, 10th (Honour/Success), 3rd (Exam-ination test), 6th (Ordering Rank), one can success with good rank in exam. (This rule given by Sri Kanak Bosmia).

• Significators: For each prime cusp, the significators (Ref. 2) of the Cuspal sub lord (CSL), star lord of the CSL

and sub lord of the CSL are used. In case of Rahu/Ketu, the node rules are used to get additional significators(Ref. 5).

Analysis

For each student the corresponding chart together with semi-automatic analysis is generated using the opensource software “KP Horary Astrology” by AstroOpenSource ([email protected]). The event cor-responding to the question is: “01. Rank in High school education”. The analysis and the results are given at theend of this paper.

Results

The students were surprised initially for the astrological analysis as they are expecting the result differently. After

getting results on 7th July 2009, it was confirmed predictions and all of the above predictions made using the newrules given by Sri Kanak Bosmia, came true. The students 1 and 2 did not get their rank; the student 4 had justmissed his rank by 0.3 and the students 3 and 5 got their rank.

My sincere thanks are due to Sri Kanak Bosmia ji for his encouragement, guidance and for providing the new rules, during this first astrological prediction. My respects are due to Sri Krishnamurtiji for the great invention of KP

Horary astrology with more scientific and easy to use rules.

Om Gan Ganapataye Namah

Krishnamurti Padhdhati has proved itself to be a scientific and logical astrology . As an as-

trologer, I have found its utility in each and every field that one can ever imagine. June is themonth of promotions in BHEL and so most of my clients asked me to predict their fate. I basically

use Horary method for such queries and have been quite successful. Here I would like to present

two examples with totally opposite results.

Query : Promotion ?

Horary : 73 [ 1 – 249 ]

Date : 21-03-2009

Time : 19:53

Place : Nakshatra Jyotish Sansthan, Bhopal 77 E 27 23 N 16

Ayanamsa : KPNA 23:53:44

Rules :

1. Cuspal Sublord of 10th must signify 2,6,10 and 11th house.

2. Cuspal Sublord of 11th house i.e house of fulfillment of desire must also signify 2,6,10 and 11th house.

3. Ruling Planets are also to be considered to check the strength of significators.

Analysis :

First of all one needs to look at the Moon and its signications to know about the genuinity of the querist. In this

case Moon itself is placed in the 6th house (competition, success) . Hence the query was genuine. Now we can

analyse the chart.

2nd Cusp : Leo 8:6:12 ( Su Ke Ju) – Sublord of 2nd cusp is Jupiter which is in the star of Moon in 6th house. Hence Jupiter is a strong significator of 6th house. Jupiter’s sublord Sun is placed in 9th house. But it is in the

star of Saturn which is placed in 2nd (finance).

6th Cusp : Sag 13:24:59 ( Ju Ve Ve ) –Ve is the sublord of 6th house and placed in 9th house as lord of 11th house.

Venus is in the star of Mercury which is placed in 8th house. Hence Venus is signifying 11th house related to pro-

motion.

10th Cusp : Aries 09:11:20 ( Ma Ke Ju ) – Jupiter, as discussed in 2nd cusp analysis, is a strong significator of 6th

house . Hence 10th cusp sublord indicates success.

11th Cusp : Taurus 12:4:42 ( Ve Mo Ra ) – Rahu is placed in 6th house with Moon. It is in the star of Moon which

is placed in 6th house. Rahu is in the sign of Saturn which is placed in 2nd house. Hence Rahu is a strong indicatorof success.

Ruling Planets at the time of judgement

Lagna - Me Ma Ju

Moon - Sa Su Ve

Day - Saturn

Prediction

Looking at the strength of the cuspal sublords of 2,6,10 and 11th houses which indicates success and fulfillment

of desire i.e promotion, I predicted success and promotion for the querist.

Result

The querist was promoted on 24th June 2009 to the rank of DGM.

Now looking at another example,

Query : Promotion

Horary : 160 [ 1-249 ]Date : 19-06-2009

Time : 18:29:17

Place : Nakshatra Jyotish Sansthan, Bhopal 77E27 23N 16

Ayanamsha : KPNA 23:53:56

Rules :

Same as discussed in the above example.

Analysis :

To go ahead with the analysis one must look at the strength of Moon and Ascendant sublord. Moon is in the star

of Venus and in the sub of Rahu. Moon is placed in 5th house in conjunction with Mars and Venus. Mars is lord of 1st and 6th house. Hence the query is genuine. Now let us analyse the chart.

2nd Cusp Sag 20:00:44 ( Ju Ve Ra ) – Cuspal Sublord Rahu is placed in 2nd house . It is is the star of Sun which

is placed in 7th house. Hence Rahu is strong significator of 7th, 2nd houses. It is in the sub of Venus which is placed

in 5th house. It is also in its own star. Hence it strongly signifies 5th house which is negative house for success

and promotion.

6th Cusp Aries 25:21:55 ( Ma Ve Me ) – Cuspal sublord Mercury is placed in 6th house. It is in the star of Moon

which is placed in 5th and also in the star of Venus which signifies 5th house strongly. Hence it does not indicate

success.

10th Cusp Leo 27:24:48 ( Su Su Mo ) – Cuspal Sublord Moon is placed in 5th house and also is in the star of Venus, hence signifies 5th house strongly. So Moon is not good for success and promotion.

11th Cusp Virgo 28:32:46 ( Me Ma Sa ) – Cuspal sublord Saturn is placed in 9th house i.e 12th from 10th and

it is in the star of Venus which is placed in 5th house. Hence Saturn also signifies 5th and 9th houses which are

not good for promotion.

Ruling Planets at the time of judgement

Lagna - Ma Me Ju

Moon - Ma Ve Ra

Daylord - Venus

Prediction :

Looking at the analysis of cuspal sublords of the related houses, it was predicted that he would not be promoted.

Also look at ruling planets, all the ruling planets were signifying 5th house.

Result :

The querist name was not among the list of promoted official of BHEL on 24th June 2009

Background

1. Since its discovery in 1930, Pluto has been a bit of a puzzle because of its small size, far dis-

tance and irregular orbit. Pluto cannot be seen without a telescope. On August 24, 2006, Plutowas stripped of his planetary distinction and formally classified as a dwarf planet at the meetingof the International Astronomical Union, the recognized authority in naming heavenly objects,

attended by the 2,500 astronomers from 75 countries in Prague.

2. Indian mathematical astrologer Mangal Prasad said the decision to drop Pluto as a planet had endorsed themathematical and astrological treatises written by Aryabhatta and Varahamihira in the sixth century during thegolden period of the Guptas. However, astrologers like Robert Hand, Madalyn Hillis-Dineen, Dave Roell, BejanDaruwalla and Ravi K Goyal were unfazed by the news of that decision.

3. The limited information on Pluto has delayed a realistic understanding of its characteristics. The Pluto is not men-tioned and not applied at all in the KP Readers.Western Experience

4. Largely thanks to the books of Jeffrey Green, his daughter Deva Green and their spiritual mentor, ParamahansaYogananda, Pluto is known as the evolutionary engine in the astrological chart. Jeffrey Green said that Pluto waswhere astrologers could begin to mange the mystery of soul, appreciate the sense of journey within evolution. A

positive side of Pluto found by Robert Hand is that a fairly common Plutonian profession is physical therapy orpsychotherapy. (Essays on Astrology, page 46)

5. The nature of Pluto is similar to that of Hindu god Shiva, the creator and destroyer. As Pluto transits a house,it begins to bring deep transformation to that house and it's issues and the first step is destruction of anythingthat needs it. One can expect vast changes in that area of life and it is important not to try to prevent the energies

of transformation as it is a part of our evolutionary growth. (Planets in Transit, page 477) A Pluto transit of the2nd house has the possibility of changing one's entire perception of material possessions as well as the spiritualvalues and the deeper meaning of life.

6. In the lives of individuals Pluto transits will bring up issues that have long been buried or repressed, providingan opportunity for resolution and release, and – ultimately – for healing and transformation. Pluto brings us faceto face with our obsessions and compulsions. Carl Jung said that when an inner situation is not made conscious,

it happens outside as fate ie. a description of how Pluto transits work in the lives of the great mass of humanity.

7. In the birth chart, Pluto shows the area of life where one will personally face the intense powers of creationand destruction. The house position of Pluto is key to understanding which area of life will enact the most dramatictransformation. Natal Pluto in the 10th house indicates someone who has leadership potential, ambition and islikely to have transformative career changes that seem in hindsight to be completely new chapters.

8. As an outer planet, Pluto's influence is generational, transiting a sign about every 13-1/2 years. For an individualchart, Pluto signifies generational tendencies and must be considered in its relation to the chart holder's othersigns and planets. Pluto’s transit is immensely powerful within an orb of 0- 1° and may be negligible otherwise.(Judith Hill, page 59)

9. Pluto's sign, position and astrological aspects give clues to a person's destiny. Individuals with a well-placed Pluto

can exercise power over others, or enjoy great wealth. A badly aspected Pluto can cause misery and torment. Butdestiny is still an issue. Great goodness and great evil live under Pluto's influence. Its two extremes are best sym-bolized by Hitler and Gandhi, each man possessed of a vision that he manifested in physical reality. Both men had

a mission, a sense of destiny; but one caused massive destruction and the other elevated mass con-sciousness.

10. Mahatma Gandhi had a powerful Pluto-Jupiter conjunction where favorable Jupiter ruled the third house of

courage and initiatives. Through his decades-long struggle against British rule, his energy and will never faltered. The t-square with Pluto-Jupiter comjunction in Taurus, Moon in Leo in 10th house and Venus-Mercury conjunctionin Scorpio indicates his powerful motivation for reform and his capacity to inspire public. (Donna Cunningham, page 48) http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Gandhi%2C_Mohandas

11. In Adolf Hitler’s chart, Pluto in the 8th house, conjunct Neptune, quincunx or inconjunct (150) the Moon and

Jupiter in the 3rd house, quincunx to the 10th Saturn. He was able to communicate his ideas forcefully and ef-fectively by his oratory and communication skills to achieve his power by manipulative and divisive means. (Jeff Green, pages 251-256) http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Hitler%2C_Adolf

12. In Paramahansa Yogananda’s chart, Pluto is in Gemini in the 10th house retrograde, conjunct Neptune retro-grade, which indicates that he is accepted as a spiritual authority. Pluto is opposing Venus and Mercury in the 4thhouse and this re-emphasizes the need to internalize emotional security, and to eliminate all forms of emotional

dependencies and expectations. The grand trine, formed by Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius in the 4th house,Moon in Leo in the 12th house and Jupiter in Aries in the 8th house, denotes an incredible evolutionary growthpotential to understand the evolutionary intentions for the life. (Deva Green, pages 113-154)http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Yogananda%2C_Paramahansa

13. In Richard Nixon’s chart, the triple conjunction of Mars, Mercury and Jupiter in the fourth house oppositionto Pluto in the 10th house gives the native the sound Plutonian energies for his political carrier and he was forced

to resign because of the peculiarly relentless, Plutonian style of pursuing his ends, which is reflected in the nu-merous stressful Pluto aspects. (Robert Hand: Essays on Astrology, page 47; Deva Green, pages 202-212)http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Nixon%2C_Richard_M.

Observation of AA Charts

14. First of all, the Placidus house-wise appearance of Pluto and Neptune in the 100 unmarried AA charts of As-troDatabank 4.0 are checked and found as given under.

Appearance of Ne and Pl in HousesH Ne Pl

15. The average appearance in a house is (1/12=) 8%. The house-wise appearance of Neptune is not significantlydifferent from the average of 8%, except 12% in the 2nd house. For Pluto, the house-wise appearance is signifi-

cantly higher than the average of 8% for the 2, 7 and 8 houses by appearing 15% each. However, it is still farbelow to be the cause of no marriage by Pluto’s placement in any of 2,7 and 8 houses. Hence Pluto or Neptunecannot be a cause of no marriage by mere appearance in the 7th (marriage) house.

16. Now let us look at 121 AstroDatabank AA charts with Neptune and Pluto in the Placidus 7th house. Out of these 121 AA charts, 51 charts are found to be married, 6 charts unmarried and the rest unknown whether mar-

ried or not. Here also it is found that mere appearance of even both Neptune and Pluto in the 7th house cannotbe a cause of no marriage.

17. From another point of view of control charts of married natives, out of 1057 AstroDatabank AA charts withPluto in 7th house, 180 married charts are easily found by using filter. So the mere appearance of Pluto in 7thhouse cannot be a cause of no marriage and consequently it would be the same for the Pluto’s connection to

7th house in any manner.Findings

18. In the Western literature on Pluto and Relationships or Synastry (Eastern Matching) given in the references,Pluto is not wholly malefic or benefic depending Pluto's sign, position and astrological aspects. Rahu and Ketu aregiven an important role in eight points specific procedure followed by Jeff Green in Pluto Vol I, page 239. Plutois supposed to magnify the planet it contacts but not to change the results of that planet always for bad. In Noel

Tyl’s experience, the Pluto-Saturn connection carries heavy loss and the Pluto-Jupiter connection provides successand wealth. (Noel Tyl, pages 92-93) In KP, no planet is wholly malefic or benefic.

19. Moreover, Pluto in 7th generally indicates power struggle between the native and the other person with pos-sible undesirable consequences, but not outright no marriage at all. Similarly Neptune in the 7th is not doomed

to disappointing relationships, not condemned by karma to relinquish them altogether. (Liz Greene, page 386)An observation of the AA charts also shows that Pluto in 7th house cannot be the cause of no marriage.

20. The bottom line that it is therefore undesirable to senselessly make a client or hapless friend upset withPluto’s adverse effects, which are not backed by cited research, requiring a minimum of one hundred carefully doc-umented case studies, as mentioned by Judith Hill in Medical Astrology, page 58.

OM Gajaananam Namamhyam

During the KP Astrologers Forum’s fortnightly meeting conducted on 12-July-2009 chaired by

Sri Rajendra Nimje IAS., somr charts on Medical Astrology were taken up. Three natal chartsregarding Epilepsy were discussed in detail.

Most astrologers consider Epilepsy a mental disease, as many of the same planetary influences

which cause Insanity also this disease. Medical authorities class it as a nervous disease, with loss

of consciousness, and with tonic and clonic convulsions. Some writers say that Epilepsy is due

to abnormality of one of the Ductless glands, the Pineal gland.

Epilepsy is best regarded as the symptoms of some underlying brain dysfunction, which causes gross misbehaviour

of brain cells, either at a specific place (focal epilepsy), or more widely (generalised epilepsy).

This misbehaviour causes physical consequences, like the loss of consciousness, or loss of muscle control. These

physical consequences are called epileptic fits (aka seizures or convulsions).

In Medical astrology Ascendant (health, head), 5th cusp (house of mind), 6th cusp (disease), Mercury (conscious-

ness) and Moon (karaka for mind) are be analysed for Epilepsy/ Fits. (“Astrological Diagnosis of Diseases” by Sri

K Hariharn S/o Sri KSK Guruji pp 95-101)

It was also brought by Sri T Seshagiri Rao, Vice President of KPAF Hyderabad that any affliction of Venus would

also leads to the above disease as Bharani star in Aries head is connected to Epilepsy n Fits.

ANALYSIS:

Chart 1 – Sri Mani, (Fits)

(Date 23/05/1948 Time 09:34:00 Place Vizianagaram, AP Day Sunday, Lat: 18:07:00N Long: 83:25:00E. KPNA 23-

02-47, Birth Star:Anuradha-3 Rasi: Scorpio Asc.: Cancer).

The native lagna is occupied by Saturn as l/o 7n8 in Mer-Ma; Mercury is l/o 3n12 in 11 (Badhaka). 6th cusp co-

rulers are Ju-Ke-Ra. 5th sublord is Mercury. Moon, the karaka for mind, is in 5th in star Saturn l/o 7,8 supporting

the same. During Venus major period where Venus is l/o 4n11 (both are occupied) in 12, in Rahu star and own

sub, connected to Aries Bharani star and sublord of 6th through Rahu, the native underwent mental tensions and

Fits. Whenever he tooks head bath the fits used to appear as Aries indicates head in Kalapurusha and Rahu con-

nected to Venus in 12th by signlord. During Sun major period the native got complete cure and medication has

been still continued. Here the adverse effect of Badhaka 11 is supposed to be reversed by the starlord Mars of

11th cuspal sublord Mercury by lordship of 5,10 (12th to 11).

Chart 2 – Sri Balu (Head Injury n Fits)

(DOB: 12.03.1981, TOB: 22:13:00, POB: Bagh Amberpet, Hyderabad, AP. Lat.17.23.00N Long.78.30.00, KPNA 23-

30-16 Thursday, Birth Star: Mrigasira-1, Rasi: Taurus, Asc. Libra).

The native’s chart was referred in the previous Medical article on Mental Retardation. The boy was born in Libra

lagna and the lord Venus is in 5th house (by orb) and in Ju-Sa; Lagna sublord Saturn l/o 4n5 in 11 in Moon’s star

who is in 8th. 6th cusp co-rulers are Ju-Me-Ra. Rahu is in Sa-Ju both are in 11 as lords of 5n6. Both Mercury and

Moon in Mars star has made the native a victim of Fits/epilepsy due to head injury. The boy while walking in the

house was hit by a Cradle which is in swing by another boy. The boy met with an accident by hitting the head to

skirting of the wall. Mars Dasa during childhood had given a permanent damage to the head as Dasa lord Mars is

in Jup-Rahu (one is 6th cusp sublord aznd another is 6th cusp signlord). Since then the Boy is under medication

for the disease.

The native was born in Kataka lagna. 1st/5th cusp sublord Rahu is in Ma-Ra where Ma is lord of Aries in 10th

bhava. 6th sublord Venus is in Aries in his own star indicated the disease of fits. Jupiter Dasa at the time of birth

where Jupiter is lord of 6n9 in 12, in Ra-Me had given high fever and consequently fits. However 8th sublord hap-pens to be Jupiter had given congenital health problem. During the advent of Saturn Mahardasa where Saturn is

l/o 7 n 8 in 11th in the star of moon had given relief due to regular medicines. Here again the adverse effect of

Badhaka 11 is supposed to be reversed by the repeated strong signification of 10 (12 th to 11) by the 11th

cuspal sublord Rahu through the conjoined and starlord Mars and signlord Venus.

Question:

On July 10, 2009 one more property (office space) was purchased by the person who asks this

question. As per his chart (25 Feb 1961, 4:22 IST, 21N37, 71E14), there is no 4,11,12 indicationat all by the running Dasa lord, how it is possible?

Period DBAS lords are Me-Me-Sa-Mo.Me(2, 7-9), in the star of Ra(8), in the sub of Ra(8).Rahu is in the sign of Sun, Su(2),Me(2, 7-9), in the star of Ra(8), in the sub of Ra(8).Sa+(1, 2), in the star of Su(2), in the sub of Ju+(1, 1-3).

Mo+(6, 8), in the star of Ra(8), in the sub of Sa+(1, 2).

As per 4 step:

Planet Me:Starlord of Me is Ra: 8; Sgl Su(2); Stl Ke(2, Sgl Sa[1, Cnj Ju{1, Asp 5, Asp 9}, Asp 3])Sublord of Me is Ra:

Starlord of Ra is Ke: 2; Sgl Sa(1, Cnj Ju[1, Asp 5, Asp 9], Asp 3); Stl Ra(8, Sgl Su[2])

Runing Dasa lord does not signfy 4,11,12. How he is able to buy property?

Answer:

1. In this case, the general rule of 4,11,12 to purchase or construct a property is found not working.

2. If the purchased property is not a new building, 6 and 9 are also to be judged as 6 is 12 for 7 which stands forthe seller, and 9 is 12 to 4 counted from 7. So it is necessary for 6 and 9 to operate for taking possession of theproperty purchased. (KP Reader III, New Edition page 242, Old Edition Practical Part page 83; KP & Astrology 1996page 105, Astrosecrets & KP Part I page 142 and Part III page 46; K Hariharan: A New Light on Jyothisha page 83)In this context, 9 is signified by Dasa lord Mercury.

3. 2 is possession or acquisition of property. (KP & Astrology 1996 page 105; Sublord Speaks-2 page 29; SublordSpeaks-3 pages 29 and 85; 2,4,11 to own a house in KP Reader VI page 272) Dasa lord Mercury signification of 2 is in line with this view.

4. It may therefore need to consider 6,9 and 2 along with 4,11,12 in the purchase of property already constructed.

August 2009 KP-Ezine 44

Shri Suresh Ramchandra Shahasane

Date of Birth: 30th May 1949

Reached Heavenly Abode: 26th July 2009

About Sri Suresh Ramchandra Shahasane

Late Shri Suresh Ramchandra Shahasane was one of the prominent as-

trologers who contributed a lot to impart knowledge of astrology. He

was a wonderful astrologer, teacher and writer. His two books on KP- Jyotish Rahasya: Krishnamurti Padhati in two parts, published in Hindi

are asset for astrologers. He defined every rule with simplicity and in

such a manner that anyone who wants to learn astrology, especially

KP astrology in Hindi can become confident astrologer by reading his

books.

In Ludhiana, we invited him to conduct a workshop on KP astrology. He

was here for three days, in those three days he delivered lectures on

different topics and everyday he spoke 10 hours continuously in per-

fect manner, explaining the charts, applying the rules. The proof of his

expertise was that no listener got tired during his lectures. He ex-plained everything in such an interesting and scientific manner that

even after listening him for 10 hours, persons who were attending

workshop wants more from him. I also learn many things from him.

Whenever I ask for help, he was always available. I am grateful for

everything he had done for me in understanding astrology.

Now Suresh ji have been passed away, it is a big loss for astrology.

Though he is not with us, his published work will always show the path

like light house to learners, researchers and astrologers.

A Humble Tribute

My Guruji, Param Pujya Shri Suresh Sahasneji (A Humble Shradhanjali)

Shri Suresh Sahasne ji as we all know has been one of the great exponents of KP (Krishnamurti Padhdhati)

astrology today in India. He was born in 1949 in Maharashtra, Thane district. He had developed keen interest

and started learning astrology since the days he was in service from his days of early youth. He learnt KP from

his Guru Shri Pandit Jyotindra Hasbe whom he met in 1982-83, who was himself a direct student of the originator

of KP, Shri Krishnamurti ji himself. In his journey of astrology Shri Sahasneji had taught about 10000 students all

over Maharashtra and India and done many workshops too which have been remembered with awe and respect.

In 1992 he published his great book “KrishnaMurthy Jyotisha rahaysa” in Marathi (and now in Hindi and Gujaratitoo) which is like a Bible for beginners and experts alike, to the lovers of the KP system. He has also written

“Bhavasdhan, Ephemris, Krishnamurthy Jyotish Ved, which have reached the corners of Maharshtra to all those

serious learners of this Padhdhati.

Sadly for us, he had left us for his heavenly abode now, on the 26th of July 2009 leaving a huge legacy of his knowl-

edge and thousands of students who will carry forward his teaching for the welfare and good of the mankind

around us. A very short age for him to leave us but even God needs good men over there, near Him.

I relate below now, my personal experiences with him.

My first encounter with Him

It was someday in the month of March 2006 and I was awake at mid night casually surfing the net for some KPastrologers from whom I could learn to predict through KP system. I got an entry with Shri Sahasnes name,

along with his telephone number on some websites, which I wrote on a slip of paper and kept for future use. Next

day at office I called him and he spoke very warmly and re-assured me not to worry about his fees etc. but to

join the course. From then on my journey of association with this great man began.

Admission to English Class

He was running Marathi class which I was not interested in joining and so I asked him to take a class in Hindu-

English which he readily agreed. But we had only 5 students for the same. Shri Sahasneji was accustomed to 50students at a time in his Marathi class, but I must say with all credit to this master that he did not care for the

number of students, did not care for the paltry sum of fees he received which was barely able to cover his

monthly expenses of traveling to the class from his home. He did not care for the time he spent on us, but he

surely cared for the imparting and sharing of knowledge to eligible students, which is why he came regularly to

teach us privileged few. Privileged because he could have easily opted out of this with any number of excuses but

he did not, rather did his work most enthusiastically.

My Experience in his Classes

We used to meet every Saturday evening for 2 hours near Dadar station in a school class room booked for that

purpose. I must say that we 5 students and our experience with this Great Master had given me the best mem-

ories of one full year of Saturday evenings spent in learning and enjoying the knowledge imparted to us by thisgentle Teacher. I remember he was always in time for the class, came in heavy rains or any rough train schedules.

He was always cheerful whenever communicating with us, always allowing us to ask questions whenever we had

any doubts. But this does not mean that he was not strict when required. I remember he had asked us to purchase

a Panchang from outside which was costing just Rs 30. He got angry after two weeks of instructing still it was

noticed that 3 of the students had not done so, and were sharing from others during the class. He was blunt in

saying that next time if he did not see their own Panchangs, they could leave the class, and he was not interested

with those non serious students. He was a complete practical Teacher and not just theoretical. In a span of 2 hours

he would take up 3 charts, himself draw all of them one by one, noting the cuspal positions along with their

sublords, planetary positions too along with their sublords, and he never tired of taking 3 charts per class and

discussing on same. Within 5 minutes he could put the whole chart along with the positions on the black board. We had interactive sessions in our learning. After teaching us the basics, it was all total a great learning process

for us. He would put a chart and ask us to locate the profession of the native or predict the marriage date or

the divorce date etc. And the "why" of the answer was discussed of, eventually. We had certain Saturdays just for

discussions unlike in other institutes of astrology where the professors shy away from too much of questioning.

His astrological prowess

This was unmatched to any one as far as I know among the astrologers using certain forms of astrological tradi-

tions and not into spiritually sought predictive inputs. He could tell within seconds the sublord of any Horary num-

ber between 1-249. He taught us certain techniques wherein one does not have to even erect a chart, but just

tell the answer from the number chosen by the querent. He was an expert in the qualities of the nature of the

answer given, in so far as explaining the predictions were concerned. For instance if a marriage was predicted, hecould tell from the planets appearing in the equations what quality of marriage could be expected, the nature of

the spouse, the characteristics to be expected, and almost every minute details too. He was an expert in the Ruling

Planets theory and taught us to predict again without the use of paper and pencil, how to predict with the Ruling

Planets. One of his classes was a heavenly event to watch, because with just one set of Ruling Planets he rectified

5 birth times with just a chalk and the blackboard with no use of calculator or any such means or access, and

they were live predictions given on the birth times of the students present in the class. So one had to believe and

marvel at his class. One just had to tell him that a person was born on so and so date in the evening or in the

morning, and that was enough for him. With the Ruling Planets at time of judgement he could come out with the

correct Lagna, Star Lord, Sub Lord and also the SubSub Lord. This is something which has to be seen to believe,

which now unfortunately we cannot witness again.

Humility personified.

I have never seen such a wise astrologer but yet a humble man. During the days we were associated with him

and learning, certain facets opened up before us, of his great personality and character which we try as hard to

emulate, would still not be able to come up to his levels. I remember at times when students could not pay the

paltry sum of fees which was Rs. 200 per month, he never asked for the same, instead told them not to bother

but just continue learning and pay whenever they could. He never charged us for the Xerox copies of notes he

used to give us frequently. Whenever he could not reply to a certain query which was very rare, he would say “I

do not know, when you find out let me know". He never said that he had the perfect learning, instead he told us,students to always consistently check the results and the analysis and keep on studying where we had made a

mistake and try to correct it the next time. He explained that the more number of charts one takes for study;

the better he gets to learn. He did not believe much in the mathematical or theory part, though himself an expert

in same, but laid emphasis on the practical day to day astrology. He said that most of the Softwares were giving

the proper calculations, and a student must spend more time on learning how to evaluate and analyze a chart,

and then check the predictions. He also taught us certain techniques on predicting for share markets, lottery and

such, but forbade us never to use this for earning money. He himself used these techniques a few times but

always donated the money earned from such use of astrology. Another important point he taught us was - an as-

trologer should never rely only on just his astrological income to run his home, but should know through his own

horoscope what are the areas through which he can earn, and use those areas for further wealth creationsthrough the proper knowledge and use of transits. Further he taught us never to waste time on controversies

or try to explain to non believers. He said just leave them to their theories and work upon one’s own learning.

Our last Saturday of learning at the end of the year was an emotional one. After the class got over, I asked him

to please take another Year of Advanced KP or whatever he preferred. He replied " I do not want to give spoon

feeding to my students. I want them to learn how to swim in the water. I would always be there. But they should

themselves be able to solve problems on their own". (I realize the words of the Great Guru today, for we have

certainly managed to keep ourselves afloat on water, if not swim.)

As a professional astrologer

He was the only astrologer whom I have seen up till date who never cared for the fees but always cared for the

contentment of the person coming to him for consultations. On few occasions when I visited him with problemsof my own, or took along with some relatives for consultations, and if ever I offered him a Rs. 500- note or a

Rs.1000- note and left, he would call me back immediately in a stern voice, and return me back 80% of the fees

paid to him, with a smile and a small reprimand. And if I hesitated to take it back, he would insist and reprimand

me again. Such a great person was he.

When our learning with him got over and he invited us for the ceremony for the handing over to us of the

"Nakshatra Jyotish Ratna" certificate, it was a great day for us, students. He had arranged for snacks, tea and a

CD with some Softwares for us. We enjoyed seeing the crowd of the students as there was a mix of students

from both his English and Marathi classes I was the only student from the English class present that day, and

when my turn came and had to say some words on the podium I welled with emotions and offered my tribute

to this great man with gratitude in my heart and tears in my eyes. For I knew, I would never be allowed to

associate in the same manner with him again, and we had to part ways in our respective paths in this world. (I

can write a thousand pages on him, but this is not the place and time to do so.)

His smiling and cheerful countenance I could never forget, for that is not possible. He is too much ingrained in

our psyches now. It is just a matter of time, and an "n" number of years before we meet on the heavenly paths

again. But till then, I promise to carry out my Guru’s work and share his knowledge to those who require it, and

with the same spirit of always "Giving" and "never holding back knowledge".

May the Great Lord grant My Guruji the everlasting peace he richly deserves, and may My Guru bless me and

the thousands he had taught, to carry out our duties with honesty, integrity and faithfulness which he himself pos-

sessed and shared in abundance with us, fortunate.

With Pranams, fond remembrances, and a heart full of gratitude to one of the Greatest Masters.

 A humble shishya,

Bhaskar Jyotish.
