History

Shiv Nadar, Arjun Malhotra, Subhash Arora, Badam Kishore Kumar, T.V Bharadwaj and Arun Kumar H all were colleagues at walchand's cooper at Pune. Where, in 1976 they decided to start a company called Microcomp that makes and sells tele digital and scientific calculators. That venture gave their initial investment to start a company that makes computer.

They started a company called Hindustan Computers Limited with the mere investment of one lakh eighty seven thousand... Rest, as they say is history...
