SeptemberHighlightsI’m so excited to introduce our newest needles, Sunstruck!

I personally love using Harmony wood needles for the majority

of my knitting, but this new set of Sunstruck has wooed me

away with its handsome blond good looks. They’ve been

especially nice when I’m working with bright multicolor yarn,

as my stitches show up so clearly against the subtle grain of the

wood. Check out the whole new line of Sunstruck needles.

Our new fall wool yarn colors have arrived, including brand

new shades in favorite lines like Wool of the Andes, Swish,

Stroll, and Palette. Palette is especially exciting, as we’ve grown

the line to a whopping 150 colors! Kerin really outdid herself

during that color selection meeting, and we’ve added some

great subtle transition colors such as soft pinks and heathered

neutrals. So many new colors have arrived that we were only

able to show a selection in this catalog – make sure to check

out the full selection online!

This month, we’re introducing Galileo, our new 50%

Merino/50% bamboo blend. It’s a sleek two-ply sport weight,

perfect for gently draping cardigans and other sophisticated

garments that could use a slight shimmer and a silky feel. This

is a great yarn for body-skimming patterns where you want

coverage but not too much warmth.

Reverie is our other new yarn for this catalog – it’s 80% baby

alpaca/20% acrylic in a brushed two-ply worsted weight. This

yarn is all about loft and comfort, and it knits up into a plush

and squishy fabric with surprisingly nice stitch definition. I

can’t wait to use this in oversized open-front cardigans and

soft, soft accessories for the holiday gift season.
