The success our Assembly has enjoyed in prior years, provides a firm foundation to build upon and to continue to achieve our purpose as the “visible arm” of the Knights.
Member participation is critical. I ask that each member prayerfully consider two additional
events this year outside of the monthly meetings to participate. In example some of the annual events include: …...Senior Fiesta, and the Memorial Day event at Holy Cross Cemetery.

As we look forward to the beginning of the spring season, we also anticipate the start of the Lenten Season. This year it begins with Ash Wednesday on March 1st. Lent is for us a special time to turn inward and evaluate the priorities of our hearts. What needs to be changed or rooted out (possible vices?) in our hearts, and what actions (virtues) are needed in helping us become more like Christ our Savior? Lent has many meanings for different people, but what is important is that we change for the better and make certain we recommit ourselves to our Savior by re-viewing and renewing the promises made on the day of our baptism and our initiation into discipleship as followers of Jesus and members of his Church. If we really desire a new springtime in our spiritual or interior lives, we need to take advantage of Lent and re-center our life in Christ. The weeks ahead in Lent are truly wonderful and grace-filled days for each of us. It is up to us individually and collectively to embrace and live out this time of blessing.

Worthy Sirs, Have you been missing the Knight Line, Announcements, Events, or Turnout information? There is a way to fix
that problem. Get on Google Groups (Send an e-mail to: [email protected]) and receive the Knight Line faster and
in full color. By sending the Knight Line by e-mail, you save the Assembly the cost of reproduction and mailing. Plus, you’ll
receive it as soon as it is finalized for print and receive announcements about various events, turnouts, and happenings not only
about our Assembly, and important information from Supreme, the District Master, and the Archdiocese. In addition, the Phone
tree is back on-line. Leave a message at 490-7445 to add your phone number to the phone tree to be notified of upcoming events.
